Instructions
1. Cook the Pasta 🍝
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook penne pasta until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Prepare the Asparagus 🥬
Heat a skillet over medium heat with olive oil. Sauté asparagus for 4–5 minutes until tender but still crisp. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
3. Cook the Salmon 🍣
Pat salmon dry and season with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and flaky. Remove and set aside.
4. Cook the Shrimp 🍤
In the same skillet, add shrimp with paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and lightly golden.
5. Make the Creamy Sauce 🧄🧀
Reduce heat to medium. Melt butter in the skillet and sauté garlic for about 30 seconds.
Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently for 2 minutes. Stir in parmesan cheese and cajun seasoning until smooth and creamy.
Add cooked pasta and toss until coated in the sauce.
6. Assemble the Plate 🍽️
Plate creamy pasta first, top with salmon and shrimp, then serve asparagus on the side. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra cracked black pepper.
Helpful Notes ✨
Add spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor 🍄
Use smoked paprika for deeper smoky flavor
Freshly grated parmesan melts best 🧀
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days
Reheat gently over low heat with a splash of cream or milk to keep the sauce silky
