Chestnut Farm ended a successful show season with the 2022 Deerfield Fair! We had a wonderful time bringing all four of our horses as well as having Kiley and Pepper with us! We also had some new faces around! Thank you to everyone who helped out Chestnut Farm this year! The fair was filled with many accomplishments, laughter, teamwork, and memories to cherish!!
We had many rider/horse combinations placing in some large classes and everyone had beautiful rides and goes! We are so proud of all of the hard work put into this!!
Placings are as follows:

Morgan Stevens and Indie Blue Sky:
English in hand- 4th
QH halter- 2nd
QH hunter under saddle- 3rd
QH hunter under saddle championship- 1st
QH western pleasure-2nd
QH western pleasure championship- 1st
Adult hunt seat equitation- 6th

Morgan Stevens and Murphy’s Law:
NEHC pleasure- 5th

They had beautiful goes in the equitation championship as well as the pleasure classes! Congratulations to Hailey and Siero on their first fair together!!

Emma Rodriguez and Siero had a beautiful ride in the NEHC pleasure and she also took Jonna Luke into the QH halter!

Chestnut Farm is set up at the 2022 Deerfield Fair! We are so excited for our last show of the year at the fair with all of our horses and some new rider combinations!!

We are so excited to watch these pairs in the following classes!!

Chestnut Farm went to the Cheshire Fair this past weekend and we had a wonderful time! It was another hot few days, but a few rain showers cooled us down! It was our first time back since 2019!!

Indie Blue Sky and Morgan Stevens had a wonderful weekend and were the champions in the Showmanship, QH halter, English in Hand, and QH Hunter Under Saddle classes! They also earned reserve champions in the equitation and showmanship champ! They had absolutely gorgeous rides in the QH classes and the Equitation and we are so proud of their well deserved winnings!

Jonna Luke and Rebecca Salina had a stellar weekend as champions in the Road Hack, Ladies Pleasure, Emerald Gem Challenge, Diamond Gem Challenge, and the Toast of the Town! They took reserve in the QH HUS and a 3rd place in equitation! They were unable to compete in the in hand classes this past weekend, but made up for it with some of their best rides they’ve had together! We are very proud of their accomplishments at this show!

Siero and Tanya Sieminski took on their first show together at the Cheshire Fair! Tanya’s last time at this show was in 2002!! It was also her first show in quite some time! They took home reserve champion in the Hunter Pleasure Championship to end their weekend! They also earned 3rd in the Equitation Championship, 4th in the Hunter Pleasure qualifier, and 6th in the Equitation qualifier! They had beautiful rides throughout the weekend and we are so happy they had a great time together! We are extremely proud of how this pair went at their first show together and cannot wait to see more!!

We are so proud of our riders and horses for Chestnut Farm at the Cheshire Fair and are looking forward to our next shows coming up!

Thank you as always to the wonderful friends and family of Chestnut Farm for making this happen! We are so thankful for the help with the horses/work at home, as well as all of the hard and time consuming work that goes into these shows. It could not happen without you!!

Chestnut Farm took on the AQHA Region Six Championships two weeks ago!!
It was a very long and very HOT week but we are so happy with how horses and riders competed and our horses stayed happy and healthy in the heat! Our riders went into some large classes and achieved goals we’ve been working hard towards!

Indie Blue Sky and Morgan Stevens had a great week earning 4th in the level 1 equitation (with a 3rd under one judge!), and 9th in both the level 1 and level 2 hunter under saddle classes! They had beautiful rides as well as fantastic goes in the showmanship level 1 and 2 classes out of 32 exhibitors! They also received 4th in the aged geldings halter classes! We are so proud of their accomplishments at this big show!!

Jonna Luke and Rebecca Salina received 6th place in the level 1 equitation with a lovely pattern! They had beautiful goes in the level 1 and 2 showmanship classes earning 11th under two judges. They also rode in the level 1 and 2 HUS and level 1 horsemanship with wonderful rides in large classes!

We are so thankful for the help and support of those with us at the show! There is no way it could happen without you! And we are so proud of the Chestnut Farm Family for their accomplishments!

We are heading to Cheshire Fair tomorrow for another weekend of showing!!

Chestnut Farm was at NSHA a couple of weekends ago! It was a small show, but we were able to work on and practice things that were a great help!
Morgan Stevens and Indie Blue Sky earned top honors in showmanship, qh halter, qh hus, and qh western, with a reserve in English in hand! Rebecca Salina and Jonna Luke took home the blues in English horse in hand, ladies pleasure, and English pleasure, with reserves in showmanship and qh hus.
Overall a very nice day for Chestnut Farm!
We look forward to the next North Shore show in July!!

Chestnut Farm took on the HHRC annual June show last weekend! All horses and riders did amazingly and had a wonderful show!!

Indie Blue Sky and Morgan Stevens had beautiful rides thought out the day and took home the champion ribbon in a tough western pleasure class! Very wonderfully ridden! This is something they have been working very hard towards!! They also took home blues in the halter!

Jonna Luke and Rebecca Salina decided to be dressage queens for the day and take home the champion ribbons in English pleasure and ladies pleasure. Jonna wanted to strut those twinkle toes for the judge!

Siero and Ally Beckwith had their first show back after a break and had very beautiful rides! They earned a reserve championship in the adult pleasure!! They had some very relaxed and pleasant classes that were a treat to watch!! We were so happy to have you there!

We had a wonderful day with the amazing help of our barn friends and family. A huge thank you to Scott and Marlene Stevens to getting some happy horses there and home and running around like crazy to keep us on track and looking great! We are so so thankful for all of the amazing work they do to keep the horses happy and healthy, setting everything up, and making it all happen! It couldn’t be done without you!
Thank you to Gretchen for helping us throughout the day, coaching at the ringside, and giving us so many encouraging remarks. You make every moment something to learn from and you always know what to say. We’d have some very stressed out riders without you there.
Thank you to Mason for helping us tack up and holding the horses, doing everything we need so we don’t have to rush, making us all smile and laugh especially when we need it, and for bringing the music!!
And a big thank you to Courtney for cleaning the stalls, doing waters, and feeding the horses at home! We are so appreciative of your help and you make the end of the day so much smoother. We are so thankful for the care you give to the barn!!

We also went to NSHA this past Sunday and will be posting about it soon! We will also be going to SSHC this weekend and we can’t wait to see everyone there!!

Chestnut Farm was at the MeQHA Pine Tree Classic last weekend! Morgan Stevens and Indie Blue Sky had very successful rides and goes in HUS, equitation, and showmanship. They also completed one of their hardest showmanship patterns to date in the AQHA amateur class and placed third in a large group of horses!! Rebecca Salina and Jonna Luke had wonderful rides and placings in HUS, equitation, horsemanship, and showmanship and are starting to get more consistent ribbons in large showmanship classes!
We have come back with a lot of things to work on and practice before region six coming up in July. A very wonderful memorial day weekend in Skowhegan Maine!
Look out for us at the upcoming HHRC June show, NSHA pleasure show, and SSHC show this month!

Chestnut Farm went to Hanson Riding Club yesterday with some of our ponies who don’t show quite as often 💜 Morgan Stevens took Murphy’s Law out for a spin at 26 years old for a fun show! This old man has still got the moves!! He and Morgan were the winners in showmanship classes and top placings in pleasure and senior classes! Rebecca Salina took him in the spectator/groom class for quite the spectacle! Courtney Lee and Top Gun tried their hand at some showmanship and in hand trail classes and ended the day with reserve champion!! A fantastic job!! We also got to spend the day with our friend, Caroline Kilduff, and her new mini Picasso, who did wonderful the in hand and costume classes!
Such a fun day all around for Chestnut Farm!

Chestnut Farm had another wonderful show at SSHC the past weekend! Morgan Stevens with Indie Blue Sky came out on top in QH HUS, English in hand, hunter in hand, QH halter, and equitation with top placings in showmanship! Rebecca Salina and Jonna Luke had wins in the showmanship and english pleasure along with reserve in QH HUS and in hand classes.
Both horses and riders handled the freezing cold and strong winds incredibly well! It was a team effort to get through the day! Always a huge thank you to Marlene Stevens and Scott for the endless opportunities, getting us through the show, and getting everything set up and running! Thank you to Gretchen Rupsys and Mason Rober for supporting us and helping us in and out of the ring!
We love our team and are excited for more shows to come!!

Chestnut Farm had a wonderful start to the show season at the MassQHA novice and open breed show! Morgan Stevens and Indie Blue Sky took home High Point in Amateur Open Breed and Rebecca Salina and Jonna Luke took home High Point in Amateur Rookie! Both horses and riders had lovely rides and goes and it was an amazing way to kick off our show season! Look out for us at more AQHA shows as well as NSHA, SSHC, HHRC, and other NEHC and MHC affiliated shows!
We are looking forward to a great 2022 season!
