The bourque sisters were able to get away and recharge for a few days. Cabo was a welcomed relaxing adventure. And of course we had to try to local steaks! Michelin Star restaurants and 5 star dining. We couldn’t pass it up. The steaks were delicious but of course were a bit biased to our beef 🤣 the steak in the photo was a big tomahawk 🥩

There is a distinct difference between beef breeds of cattle and dairy breeds (the most popular cross). Dairy breeds like Holstein and Jersey tend to be thinner and built for milk production. Where beef breeds are heavy on muscle. When buying from local ranchers, it’s a question you want to ask so you’re aware of what kind/breeds of meat you’re getting. Angus crossed with dairy breeds will still produce good meat, but it’s not the same quality as meat from 100% beef breeds. 🥩🤠 this will help you be able to compare apples to apples when deciding who to trust to buy from.

We have ground beef and taco grind. The pics show the difference, which isn’t much! The only thing different about the taco grind is that it’s put through the grinder once and ground beef goes through 3 times. You can see the ground beef is ground finer than the taco which is more coarse. Both are equally delicious 🤤 we have plenty of both on hand for your needs!

After the news was released about the 300,000 metric tons of beef being imported for the next 90 days and the possibility of the country of origin labels being removed from store meat, I have been getting lots of questions about buying local.

This is exactly why Stef and I decided to start offering high quality beef. We didn’t trust what we were buying, didn’t taste quite right and knew we deserved better! Now, we raise beef that is high quality with animals who are well cared for, transparent practices and a taste you won’t get enough of 🥩

We can’t talk pricing on the posts, it’s a FB no no but reach out with any questions!

When you buy bulk, the cost initially is an investment but when you look at grocery store prices for the same cuts you will see that you’re actually coming out ahead. In quality and cost.
