Things are starting to happen in the field. 🤩

Everything is looking great! Strawflower, snaps zinnias and cosmos are about to pop. Our dahlias survived the rain storms (they don’t like excessive rain after being planted and can be prone to rotting in those conditions), ageratum and statice look amazing and everything else does too! Our summer flowers should be here by the end of June! 💐 It’s going to be a great summer. ☀️

LAST DAY FOR DAHLIA PLANTS & TUBERS

We have just a few tubers & plants left!

If you’ve been wanting to add some dahlias to your garden or landscape, now’s the time! The cool thing about dahlias is you plant one and in the fall when you dig up the tubers, you will find multiple viable tubers to store and plant for next year!

The difference between a tuber and a plant is the plant is from a cutting and will give you a bit of a head start when it comes to blooms. Both will grow the same and produce tubers at the end of the season! We have a few more varieties in the plants right now than the tubers.

When I get in my garden or flower field, His presence often just overwhelms me. My worries slip away. My heart becomes content. The flowers remind me of how much He loves us (and reminds me of the verse Matthew 6:28-30). I hope our flowers give you a moment of peace and joy too. ❤️

Let’s talk about dahlias!

Dahlias are such a cool plant - you plant one and get many plants for next year by the end of the season! Talk about a return on investment! We officially launched our dahlia tuber sale this week and are excited for you to have some dahlias in your gardens and landscapes this summer!

Something else that’s neat about tubers that I wanted to talk about in the video but for some reason the editing was being wonky and you couldn’t hear me was that if an eye breaks off on the tuber, another one forms in its place. How cool!

Guess who has some plants & tubers for sale 👀

We ended up with some extra dahlias this year and would love to see them growing in your flower beds and gardens!

Dahlias are such a fun flower to grow for a number of reasons. They put off quite a few blooms during the season, come in a variety of colors, and one single tuber/plant turns into multiple plants by the end of the season! Dig them up in the fall and you’ll find multiple tubers waiting to be stored and planted next spring. How cool!

We have a good many of Cornel Bronze available (probably my all time favorite dahlia - a gorgeous orange bronze color and great producer), along with lots of mystery varieties. We are offering SHIPPING on tubers right now! We have a variety of colors in our dahlia plants and some mystery colors as well for them!

Now that our flowers are in the ground and growing, we’ve entered the season of weeding, waiting, watering, and praying. 🤪

We are SO excited for our 2026 summer flower season! There is nothing quite like heading out to the field and harvesting that first summer bouquet. The colors are so vibrant, and it brings me so much joy to be making bouquets again.

We’re planning to be back in July this year, along with a few other events (more on those soon!). We’re also focusing on keeping our farm stand stocked and open more consistently throughout the season.

A realistic morning in the life with my sidekick!

Latley our morning routine has included a Bible study to start the day, working in the garden and field during sisters nap and then back in to make lunch.

On this particular day, we got our support system for our tomato’s in the ground and planted them, finished up some work on our irrigation for the flower field and tested it out. It seems to work pretty well! I’m excited to not spend hours watering and let this system do the work instead while I harvest flowers. Shoutout to Cade for making guest appearances in this reel by stealing my phone multiple times. 😂

Peony season 🤩

A customer/friend picked a bouquet up at the stand the other day and took some pics to share with me. So of course had to share with you all! Peony season is just gorgeous. Our patch is small but still growing. My grandma grows some as well and grows dianthus (also in this bouquet) and I think I need to grow it now too for future peony bouquets! What do we think?!
