Buy some rubber ducks, pump the old fashioned style pitcher pumps, and see who's duck makes it to the other end the fastest! Keep your duck to take it home!
Baked good, coffee, hot chocolate, cider and soft drinks and milk pints available for sale.

Pavilions are available to rent for birthday parties, churches, youth groups, scout groups, 4-H groups or any other groups that would like to have a gathering there.
A few extra notes for this season:
Hayrides will not be available at this time, but we will be evaluating and it could change.
The pumpkin patch did not do incredibly well with the all the wet we had this year. There will be some in the patch, and we will have pumpkins available from our daughter-in-law patch to sell on the corn maze building.
The delicious baked goods will be available this season as well!!! 🤩 So come stock up!

Good evening all! This is the final weekend for the maze to be opened. Hours are Sat (10/30) 12-9 and Sunday (10/31) 2-6. There is nothing spooky or Halloween themed planned, just our normal family friendly maze, pumpkin patch and petting zoo.

This year we have a sunflower patch and a pick your own pumpkin patch. You can cut your own sunflower bouquet at $1 a flower. We also have some smaller pumpkins ready to be picked as well.
We have 4 pavilions available and 2 fire rings. Please call 301-616-6111 to reserve one of these or if you have any questions.

Look what we planted this year! A pumpkin patch! Some of the tiny ones are already turning. The plan is for it to be a pick your own and pay at the corn maze building during the hours the Corn Mazs is open. Opening weekend is in 2 days. Hours are Friday 4- 9, Sat 12- 9. Sunday 2-6 and special hours for Labor Day- Monday Sept 6th from 12-4.

We did something new this year and we LOVE it! Tell us what you think of our sunflower patch! Would you like to see it be a yearly addition?
You can pick your own at $1 a flower. The field also makes great backgrounds for photo shoots.

Opening day for the 2019 season is 9-14-2019
Our theme this year is Foster care - Foster Appalachia, Inc. – a portion of our Proceeds from this season will go to them. Come support your local community!
Hours Friday – 4-9, Saturday 12-9 and Sunday 2-6 (other days/times by appointment)
Prices – Adults (age 11 and up) 8$, children (ages 3-10) 4$ and 2 and under Free

Cove Run Farms is a 160 acre dairy farm nestled in a beautiful cove right outside of Accident, Maryland. With 140 registered Holstein cows, 155 heifers and calves, a miniature horse, dogs, cats, goats, and the Bender family, the farm tends to be a busy place. Bob and Alice have been farming together since they got married in 1979. They are the parents of five children: Derrick, Shawn, Nicole, Alecia and Logan. They also have two daughter-in-laws Cynthia and Sarah and a son-in-law Brad, and they have 8 grandchildren. Two grandsons Jairus and Braedynn and eight granddaughters: Annika, Eden, Brielle, Bristol, Lydia, Brietta and Braelynn, Bridgette.
Although the farm can be very busy it is also a place to relax and enjoy nature. With a beautiful view and a pleasant breeze you can simply sit back and enjoy the beautiful country.
Bob and Alice started the Corn Maze in 2001 with the "Got Milk" Corn Maze and have been hosting the Cove Run Farms Corn Maze Adventure every year since 2001 and the 2018 season will be eighteen years for the Corn Maze. The other themes were:

Even though the Corn Maze was only established in 2001 the Cove Run Farms Dairy Operation has been around much longer. Bob's father Oren Bender bought Cove Run Farms in 1962. He raised his family and hundreds of cows in his time on the farm. Bob followed in his father's footsteps with a love for the land and the dairy herd. Bob married Alice in July of 1979 and they had their first son, Derrick in 1980. Their second son, Shawn was born in 1982, followed by their first daughter, Nicole in 1988, their second daughter, Alecia was born in 1992, and their third and youngest son, Logan was born in 1998. They raised their children on a nearby farm until 1996 when they moved into the farm house at Cove Run Farms.
