Chester has retired from his professional job! I am so grateful for his hands in the field this year. With the freezes, frosts and rainy season this spring, we lost all our lavender plants and our sage plants. I used these in my floral designs. He dug up the old plants. Our new birch tree froze half way down. It had tiny leaves on it the first of May. Getting ready for the Garrett County Mountain Laurel Garden Club Flower Tour. We'll get a little creative in these rows. Ugghh! We gardeners all know that feeling, I just wish it hadn't happened this year. We look forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks!
