Nobody is thinking of Christmas trees when it is almost 100 degrees (well we are of course!) but it was really nice to be mentioned!
We had no idea that Accord had so much to offer!
While there is no rush in taking down your tree, here is our yearly reminder of things you can do to recycle your tree in an environmentally conscious way.
So what do you do with your Christmas tree now that the holiday's over? Here are a few ways to recycle, repurpose or dispose of your lovely tree.
Please share photos of your decorated trees below. We love seeing what they become! Thank you all for a wonderful season!
We are officially closed for the 2021 season! Thank you for your support and for sharing your tradition with us! We are blessed beyond belief. Stay tuned for a post to share pictures of your beautiful trees with us! Thank you all so much!
It’s official. Tomorrow will be our last day for the 2021 season. The cut your own selection is getting thin. There isn’t much above 6 1/2 feet left to cut. We have a few pre-cuts available as well. We do have a nice selection of wreaths, roping and balled and burlap trees. We are open tomorrow from 8:30-4:30. Thank you for your support for so many years!
We are proud to be part of this great effort. 🌲
UPDATE ON TREE INVENTORY
December 1, 2021
As we expected, we are getting low on some sizes of trees. We do anticipate closing early but will be open through this Sunday, December 5. After that, we will re-evaluate the inventory in the fields.
We still have a good selection of trees of all varieties up to about 7’. There are still a few bigger trees (over 10’) but the selection is getting thin. There really are not many (if any) trees in the 8-10’ range but, as we had anticipated that, we do have really nice pre-cut trees ranging from 8-10’ that we brought in for sale. While it is not the same as cutting your own tree, we knew we needed trees in that range and last year had some people tell us they were even having a hard time locating pre-cut trees to buy around town. We wanted to make sure our customers at least have an option.
As always, thank you for your wonderful support and we are honored to be a part of your family traditions! Keep an eye on our website and page for more information after this weekend!
It was so much fun to see Santa arrive in style today!! Thank you to our local fire company for giving him a lift and giving us a great time!
It’s time for our annual mitten tree drive! Bring your unneeded mittens, hats and scarves to contribute. They are donated to the Family of Ellenville for those in need.
Opening day 2021 in the books! We had a great day and it was so nice to see so many people come out to get their trees. 🌲
We are very excited to have Vinnie’s Fine Foods at the farm this year! Come hungry!!
We are often asked if we provide twine to tie trees to your car. We do have twine here while supply lasts (free) to tie your tree to your car. However, we may not have enough supply and may not be able to keep up with demand so please bring your own tie downs if you have some. See you after Thanksgiving!
Can you believe it?! We open 2 weeks from today! We can't wait to see you soon. Check out our website for updates and schedule information. https://bellschristmastrees.com/
Thank you to all of those who have served this great nation. We are so thankful for you and your service. God Bless the USA!
They have arrived!
Don’t forget that Veterans Day is tomorrow. It’s a chance to thank those who have served in the past. You can also thank those who are currently serving by supporting Trees for Troops.

GREAT NEWS!! We just got confirmation from Santa's helpers that Santa will be back a the farm this year! We sure missed him last year. He will be arriving in stunning fashion at our farm! Santa will be here Sunday November 28 at 1:00. We hope to see you there. 🦌🌲
Who gets the final say in your family when it comes to picking out your Christmas tree?
View from Comet Trail
So this is what we run into while trimming trees. If it lasts until we open we can't wait to see the reaction of the family that chooses this tree! Notice how the nest is actually built around some of the limbs. This one is HUGE!! Needless to say this tree might go untrimmed this year. LOL
We are getting ready for another fun tree season! We will be opening the day after Thanksgiving, as usual. We will have our usual schedule but we do anticipate that we may need to close early again as we did last year. We will stay open as long as the field inventory allows. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks!
Beautiful sky on Saturday evening.
This looks like Gordie headed down the road delivering hay!

Remembering our Nation's heroes this Memorial Day.
We see so much wildlife in our trees this time of year. It is beautiful to see mother nature at work!
It's time for making maple syrup here at Bell's Christmas Trees. We do it the old fashioned way!
Who took down their tree this weekend? Don't forget you can drop them at our farm and we will chip them for use in our potted tree area. Drop them at the back of the red barn by the road if you'd like us to take care of your tree. We also have heard of several local goat farms looking for trees!
