Alpaca Clothing Care Instructions
Dry Clean or Hand Wash

1. Gently wash in warm-cold water with a mild soap (mild shampoo will do.) Rinse in water at same temperature Caution: Never wring or twist. Gently press excess water from garment. Wet Alpaca garments will lose their shape.

2. Dry: Use a towel to remove excess water. While supporting the weight of the wet garment lay it on a dry towel. Ease the garment back into shape and roll up in the towel. Press to remove excess water and repeat this step with a second towel.

3. On a flat surface lay the sweater on a fresh, dry towel, until thoroughly air dried.

4. Once your Alpaca garment is dry you will want to fold it carefully, avoiding a center crease. 5. It is best to lay flat in drawer or on a closet shelf to avoid stretching.



Care Instructions for Dryer Balls

100% Alpaca Dryer Balls will last 2 years.

Add a drop of essential oils to them to naturally give a fresh scent to laundry.



Care Instructions for Toys, Rugs, Pillows, Hats, Scarves, and Other Non-Washable Items

Brushing

You may brush your alpaca fur with either a wire pet brush or a hairbrush. This works particularly well when it gets matted from sitting or laying on it.

Cleaning

For spills or spot cleaning, a sponge with a mild soap and water solution will work best. Make certain that you don't get the leather wet by using so much liquid that it penetrates through the fur, down to the leather.

Periodically using some kind of talcum powder will help to keep your alpaca fur smelling fresh.
