Drop by the farm stand, pay the $25 entry fee which is 100% donated to NAMI and take home your frame. Then during the month create your scarecrow and bring it back to be displayed during the month of October. During October, the public will vote on their favorite entries, with each vote accompanied by a donation to NAMI Central Middlesex.
We ask that your scarecrow not be scary, gory or halloween themed. Get your friends, family, your team or class together and enter the contest today!

ACTON: Vote for your favorite at the “Stand Up to Stigma” Scarecrow Contest at Cucurbit Farm at 32 Parker Street. Proceeds benefit the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Central Middlesex. The scarecrows will be on display for the month of October. There is still time to build a scarecrow or plan to enter your carved Jack O’ Lantern in the Glow By event on Halloween weekend. This is the 7th year Cucurbit Farm is hosting their wonderful Scarecrow Contest! For a $25 donation (all proceeds go to NAMI of Central Middlesex, MA) you get a scarecrow frame to decorate. Then bring your artistic creation back to Cucurbit to display. The contest is fun, gives everyone a smile and raises lots of donations for NAMI. It's a win, win, win!!

After several years of cancellations we finally completed a full Trail March to Concord this morning. As usual near the outset of our march we stop by the Lower Village Cemetery for a musket salute then continue on another 9.5 miles to Concord where we join up with the Concord parade. Shout out to Cucurbit Farm for their incredible hospitality this morning!
