Picking is still very good. We are picking Blue Crop, Nelson and Bonus. We just got a shipment in of tee shirts and we still have maple syrup from Clark’s sugar house.
For those people that use Holden Hill coming in from Langdon you can use the Bascom farm road instead of going behind Bascom’s Sugar House. Once you get to the bottom Bascom Farm Road take a left. Do not take Parsons Road. GPS will try to take you that way. Please drive slowly on Crane Brook. It is one lane in places and you might meet a tractor trailer. Once on Crane Brook go about 1.1 miles and take a right onto Derry Hill Road. We are 1.3 miles on the right. The part of Crane Brook between Bascom’s Farm Road and 123A is still closed.
Our hours are Wednesday through Sunday. Fields opening at 8 am and closing at 6 pm

08/11/2023

We still have plenty of blueberries. It does not take long to pick a bucket. Our hours are from 8:00 AM with the fields closing at 6:00 PM. Wednesday through Sunday.

08/04/2023

We will be closing the blueberry fields early today (4:00) with all the storms moving around. We will be open tomorrow at 8:00 am. Tomorrow is going to be a beautiful day.

08/03/2023

The picking is still great. We have lots of blueberries. The Bluecrop is fast picking and they are big. With the help of Henry from Levesque Land Management LLC we fixed the road so those that need, can drive up. The fields are still very wet. You will only be able to park on top. Stay out of the high grass because you will get stuck or damage our fields. Pass at your own risk.
Hours are still Wednesday through Sunday opening at 8:00 am and the fields closing at 6:00 pm.

07/25/2023

We will be opening the upper fields on Wednesday. The fields are still very wet. I would wear something that might get a little wet or muddy.
We still cannot let you drive up. We are working on getting the rear driveway fixed so people can drive up. Right now, it is like a little babbling brook.
Our hours are Wednesday through Sunday opening at 8:00 am and the fields closing at 6:00 pm.
If you like please call for picking conditions and or directions. 603-762-9976.

07/22/2023

07/21/2023

We will be closing the blueberry fields early today (4:00) with all the storms moving around. We will be open tomorrow at 8:00 am. We just got some Maple Syrup from Clarks Sugar House.

07/19/2023

Please find the updated list of road closers and the ones that are open.
If you see the road crews out there, please be patient they are doing the best they can.

Direction to get to the farm.

From Charlestown. The roads are all open.

From Alstead and Walpole.
PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO GO BY VILAS POOL
Take Holden Hill in Langdon. Starting at the Langdon school intersection go 3.1 miles. Stay straight. There will be a sign warning tractor trailer not to go you will not make it. This is a very narrow road so please take it slow. At the end take a right. This will take you on sugarhouse road. Please drive slow through Bascoms yard. At the bottom of sugarhouse road take a left onto Crane Brook Road. Go for .4 miles and take a right onto Derry Hill Road. We are 1.3 miles on the left.

From Keene or Claremont.
Take Rte. 10 to 123A. There is a sign at the end saying road closed. The state is trying to keep as many sight seers off the roads. This is for local use only. We are local. Take 123A into south Acworth. (It is a little rough in places so please take it slow.) Take a right up Hill Road and then left onto Derry Hill Road for 1.3 miles. We are on the left. There are a few narrow places so please be careful.

It has been a very wet spring and summer. I am sure most of you heard that we had a lot of damage in Acworth again. The farm did get some damage from that storm and we are in the process of getting the damage fixed. At this point I would wear something that might get wet or muddy. We cannot let anybody drive up into the fields for now.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in the patch.

Hello from the berry patch. Derry Hill Road is open on both ends and the picking is great.
Got word today that they have opened Rte. 123A on both ends. I would like to thank both the town and state workers for getting these roads open. Crane Brook Road is still closed and will be for a while. So, when you get to the covered Bridge stay on 123A into South Acworth. Take a left on the Hill Road, go .7 miles and take a left onto Derry Hill Road. That road is still rough but passable.
If you are coming from Claremont or Newport, you can still go Cold Pond Road and then take a right onto Charlestown Road. Go 2.4 miles and take a left onto Luther Hill Road. Then go 1.1 miles on Luther Hill Road. Derry Hill road is now open. The farm is about 1.3 miles on the right. You can still go down Hill Road and then right onto Derry Hill Road. The first directions are smoother than coming up Derry Hill.
Coming from Charlestown. The Charlestown Road is open now. Take a right onto Luther Hill Road and go 1.1 miles and follow the directions above.
If you are using Rte. 10
Coming from the south on Rte. 10 go past Marlow take 123A into South Acworth. Take a right onto Hill Road for .7 miles. Then take a left onto Derry Hill Road and go 1.3 miles the farm is on the left. The road is rough but passable.
Coming from the North on Rte. 10 before you get to Marlow take a right onto 123A and go to South Acworth. Take a right onto Hill Road for .7 miles. Then take a left onto Derry Hill Road and go 1.3 miles the farm is on the left. The road is rough but passable.

Thank you for your patience

07/23/2021

The berries are looking great. The Bluecrop is just starting to come in. They are the ones that are in the upper fields. So, we are opening up those fields. We still have plenty of the Dukes, Spartans and Northlands left. Picking is great in them. We are still asking that people don’t drive up top. The fields are still very wet. We hope they will dry out soon. So, we would like to hold off for a few more days to see what they look like. Thanks for you patients. Tow trucks are very expensive and the towing would be at the vehicle owner expense.
Hope to see you soon in the berry patch! 😀
