🌾☕Resting In His Presence Sunday☕🌾

Breaking Bread at the Mustard Seed with Stacey

🍞Just a Little Daily Bread…🍞

Matthew 11:28 ~
“Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

The world tells us to keep going.

Work harder.
Push further.
Do more.
Be more.

But Jesus offers something different.

Rest!

Not because the work is finished.

Not because every prayer has been answered.

Not because every problem has disappeared.

But because His presence refreshes our souls!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Sometimes we think rest is doing nothing.

Biblical rest is much deeper than that.

It’s laying down our worries.

It’s releasing our need to control everything.

It’s trusting God with what we cannot carry.

It’s sitting at His feet and remembering that He is God and we are not.

Friend, you do not have to carry the weight of tomorrow today.

You do not have to have all the answers.

You do not have to fix every problem.

Today, simply come to Jesus! 🙌🏼

Bring Him your burdens.

Bring Him your fears.

Bring Him your unanswered prayers.

Bring Him your weary heart.

And allow His peace to wash over you.

The same God who carried you through this week will carry you through the next one too.

Rest in Him! 🙌🏼🤍🙌🏼

Father, thank You for being my refuge and my rest. Help me lay down every burden I’ve been carrying and trust You with what I cannot control. Refresh my heart, renew my mind, and fill me with Your peace. Thank You for walking with me through every season of life. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 🤍

What burden do you need to place into God’s hands today?

🌱Sowing Seeds Saturday🌱

Breaking Bread at the Mustard Seed with Stacey

🍞Just a Little Daily Bread…🍞

Psalm 126:5 ~
“Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy.”

Every harvest begins with a seed.

The farmer doesn’t see the harvest the day he plants.

He doesn’t wake up the next morning to fully grown crops.

He plants.

He waters.

He waits.

And he trusts! 🙌🏼

Faith works much the same way.

Sometimes the seeds we sow are prayers.

Sometimes they’re acts of kindness.

Sometimes they’re words of encouragement.

Sometimes they’re tears cried in faith when no one else understands.

Friend, don’t underestimate the seeds you’re planting today! 🙌🏼

That prayer you’ve prayed for your child!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

That encouragement you gave to a friend.

That Bible verse you shared.

That act of obedience no one else noticed.

Those seeds matter.

The enemy wants you to believe your efforts are insignificant.

God says every seed planted in faith has purpose.

You may not see immediate results.

You may not see the harvest yet.

But God sees every seed.

And in His perfect timing, He brings growth.

Don’t stop planting because you can’t yet see the fruit.

Keep sowing.

Keep trusting.

Keep believing.

The harvest belongs to the Lord! 🙌🏼

Father, thank You that no seed planted in faith is ever wasted. Help me remain faithful in the small things. Give me patience when I cannot see immediate results and confidence that You are working beneath the surface. Help me trust You with every seed I plant and every prayer I pray. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 🤍

🌾Fearlessly Forward Friday🌾

Breaking Bread at the Mustard Seed with Stacey

🍞Just a Little Daily Bread…🍞

Joshua 1:9 ~
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Fear has stopped more dreams than failure ever could! 🙌🏼

Fear tells us to stay comfortable.

Stay safe.

Stay where it’s familiar.

Stay where we can control everything.

But God rarely calls us to stay! 🙌🏼

He calls us to follow.

The disciples had to leave the shore.

Abraham had to leave his homeland.

Peter had to step out of the boat.

And Jesus carried His cross up a hill called Calvary! 🙌🏼

Throughout Scripture, God’s people moved forward by faith, not by certainty.

Friend, you may not know exactly how everything will unfold.

You may not have every answer.

You may not see the entire path.

But you do know Who is walking with you! 🙌🏼

The same God who carried you through yesterday is already standing in your tomorrow.

Don’t let fear convince you to camp where God has called you to climb!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Take the step.

Make the call.

Share the testimony.

Start the ministry.

Write the book.

Pray the prayer.

Trust God and move forward.

The mountain may look intimidating, but God didn’t bring you this far to leave you standing at the bottom.

He is calling you higher! 🙌🏼

Father, give me courage to move forward when fear tries to hold me back. Help me trust You more than I trust my doubts. Remind me that You are with me every step of the journey. Strengthen my faith, guide my path, and help me walk boldly into all that You have prepared for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 🤍

What step of faith has God been asking you to take that you’ve been putting off?

🌾Fixed On Jesus Wednesday🌾

Breaking Bread at the Mustard Seed with Stacey

🍞Just a Little Daily Bread…🍞

Hebrews 12:2 ~
“Keeping our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.”

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to become distracted?

One minute we’re focused on God.

The next minute we’re focused on:
our problems…
our fears…
our circumstances…
our disappointments…
or what everyone else is doing.

Before long, our eyes have drifted from the One who gives us peace and landed on the things stealing our peace.

Peter experienced this firsthand.

When Jesus called him onto the water, Peter actually did the impossible.

As long as his eyes remained on Jesus, he walked above the waves.

But the moment he shifted his focus to the wind and the storm around him, he began to sink.

How often do we do the same?

We start looking at the size of the problem instead of the size of our God.

We focus on what we lack instead of what God provides.

We stare at closed doors instead of trusting the One who opens them.

Friend, whatever is demanding your attention today, don’t let it steal your focus.

The storm may still be raging.

The situation may not yet be resolved.

The answer may still be on the way.

But Jesus is still faithful.

When your eyes remain fixed on Him, peace replaces panic, faith overcomes fear, and hope begins to rise again.

The enemy wants your attention.

Jesus wants your trust.

Choose Jesus! 🙌🏼

Father, help me keep my eyes fixed on You. When distractions, fears, and worries compete for my attention, remind me to turn my focus back to You. Help me trust Your promises more than I trust my circumstances. Fill my heart with peace as I walk by faith and not by sight. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 🤍
