85 years ago today, a legend was born. ❤️

Today would have been Tom’s 85th birthday.

It’s hard to believe he’s been gone for 16 years, but if you’ve ever visited Tom & Hattie’s, laughed with our family, or felt welcomed by us, then you’ve experienced a piece of who he was.

Tom never met a stranger. He didn’t care where you came from, what you had, or what title was attached to your name. He treated everyone with the same love, kindness, dignity, and respect.

The values he lived by became the foundation of our family, our restaurant, and the way we try to treat every person who walks through our doors.

Today we pause to celebrate the Patriarch of our family—a husband, father, grandfather, friend, and a man whose impact continues to be felt every single day.

Happy 85th Birthday, Tom. 🎂❤️

We love you.
We miss you.
And we promise to keep your legacy alive.
