Goats choose the best days for birthing. 30 mile an hour winds with 60 mile wind gusts, rain too, and she decided nows my time to shine and birth the largest baby you've seen. Little man seems to be a fighter.

Some goats are harder to keep than others! Featuring Muffin, Licorice, and karen. Miss muffin is a deadbeat mom with great milk supply, too bad she doesn't want to share! Had to get creative milking her and she still spilled some. As for Licorice she has the fashionable stupid stick. Her favorite hobby is getting stuck in fences and screaming non stop like she's dying. karen is an okay mom, least she feeds him. Her name is Karen and not a Food theme like everyone else because all she does is scream for no reason, all hours and I'm convinced each time she or someone else is dying when she does so!

Some of our beautiful Buff Brahmas.

The perfect backyard chicken breed is named for India’s Brahmaputra River. The breed probably came to the U.S. on Nineteenth Century sailing ships, or it may have been developed here from other Asian breeds. Either way, Brahmas are enormous. Feathers cover their feet and shanks, keeping them warm in winter. Their docile, gentle, and quiet temperament makes them one of the best breeds around children. Hens lay about 200 medium-sized brown eggs annually, sometimes go broody, and are attentive mothers.

Plenty of Sagitta chickens at Slivers! 🐥

Sagittas is a cross between the Rhode Island Red, New Hampshire Red, and Cornish Crossbreeds. They are a dual-purpose breed that will produce both eggs and meat. They are a great choice as a backyard chicken as they take well to both confinement and free-range.
