Since some of yall have decided to take these posts way too personal, let's clear some stuff up:
Obviously not all DG employees are bad. Some work hard and actually care about their job and their store. There hasn't been posts on this page lately because there seems to be several new hires/management that actually want to make things better and huge kudos to them. Truly, a lot of respect and thanks to them.
It just gets old to see the state of this store and see SOME (again, not all) employees obviously not care about the store or customers. So many members of our community have shared stories of being ignored, seeing employees playing on their phones and ignoring them, employees ignoring duties to stand outside and v**e for extended periods of time, etc and then the obvious stocking issues.
Several people have made constant calls to corporate and nothing has happened. The entire point of this page was to help bring awareness to truly how bad it has gotten (because it is straight up a safety hazard for it to be THAT bad) and honestly just be a venting place for the fed up and frustrated.
It's understandable that change cannot happen in a day and therefore, that's why there hasn't been posts because at least there seems to be effort being made.
The biggest concern truly is safety. Think about how the elderly, disabled, and even small children have to navigate through all of that. I don't want my grandma going in there to fall over junk in the floor and breaking a hip. How is someone in a wheelchair suppose to even make it past the registers? What if a child tries to shift a box on a rolltainer and the entire stack falls on them?
If you aren't concerned for our community members who can't travel as easy and have mobility issues, please tell me what fantasy land you live in and I'll be sure to tell DG to build a store there too.
Appreciate yall, enjoy the laughs in good fun, and stay tuned for hopefully a better and cleaner store!
