Organic Apple Orchard & Pumpkin Farm Our orchard and pumpkin farm makes for the perfect get-away, located only 20 minutes west of Des Moines.

Wills Family Orchard and pumpkin farm is located far away from the hustle and bustle of traffic and noise in the rolling hills of Dallas County, Iowa. High above Panther Creek to the east and the South Raccoon River to the south and west, our ridge-top location will give you a reason to go for a walk, not only to enjoy the fresh air and exercise but to enjoy the scenic fall colors. Please come and visit us and take in the sites and sounds of the countryside and take home that fresh country taste found in each one of our orchard products.

🍎🎃Our First Festival Weekend is HERE!🎃🍎

We’re kicking off our first festival weekend at Wills Family Orchard, and we can’t wait to welcome you back!🍂

Come enjoy a beautiful fall day at the orchard with U-pick apples, fresh c***r, c***r donuts, apple treats, the maze, hayrides, duck races, the low ropes course, and more! There’s something for everyone to enjoy.🍏

A quick note about pumpkins: 🎃
Pumpkins will not be available until the weekend of September 19th.

🍎 This Weekend at WFO! 🍎

🍂 We are just a couple weeks out from our first festival weekend at the orchard. This weekend you can pick apples and visit our store where you can purchase apple c***r, honey, jams and jellies, w**e, and other local products.

Our general store will also be open during these hours, stocked with some of your orchard favorites.

🌞 Now that we’re in August, we’ll be consistently open every Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, so you can plan your visits all month long.

A Rare Treat is Blooming at Wills Family Orchard 🍑
If you’ve visited us before, you might know… our peaches are a bit of a gamble this far north in Iowa.

But this year—nature might just be on our side.

Right now, our peach trees are in FULL BLOOM, and it’s a beautiful sight to see. And if the weather cooperates, this could mean a peach crop later this summer (something we only get every few years).

There are still a lot of “ifs” between bloom and harvest—late frosts, wind, and spring surprises—but we’re feeling hopeful.

It’s moments like this that remind us how special each season on the farm can be.
