We are excited to offer our line up for this year - the 2025 Fab 4️⃣ are looking greener pastures!

The lone yellow heifer of the bunch, Hallie, is as pretty as they come! As the judge at the Iowa State Fair said, “This little tricked out heifer is good!” She is great structured, square in her hooks to pens, and is as docile as they come. Hallie won her class in the Inaugural Highland Show and was 4th out of 8 in a competitive AOB Class in the Feeder Calf Show - all at the 2025 Iowa State Fair!🏆

We’ve never had this much bull power and we sure are excited about them!

Big Ben, a dun May Bull, was the Reserve Grand Champion Bull at the Inaugural Highland Show at the Iowa State! He is cool colored, sound, deep bodied, and has the thickest coat of hair that all the fitters in the barn wanted to get their hands on! 🏆

The little boys - Matthew (yellow) and Marty (dun) - are July babies. They both have bone and style that will serve as great breeding pieces in a herd for years to come!

All claves are AHCA registered or pending AHCA and all are sired by our her bull BTTR Iceman.

Halie and Big Ben are entered in the Clay County Fair in Spencer, IA but can be ready anytime!🎡

Marty and Matthew will be ready to go early winter! 🎄🎁

We’ve got a cute smokie fella that is looking for a new friend to feed him a few bottles since his Momma isn’t milking. He’s out of my highland bull and a black commercial cow. He’s about a week old. He’ll make a great locker steer!

Class on Class x Bismarck Bred Heifer

This heifer was bought on Minnert’s Fall 2023 sale and is bred to our herd bull, who is an I-80 son (AMA #483599). She is a 3/8 maintainer and 1/4 angus (AMA #545825). She’s due end of August/first part of September - vet called her 110/120 on March 20th. She’s weighing 1190 pounds and is a moderately framed heifer with an exceptional pedigree. Calving window doesn’t fit our program so we are looking to find her a new pasture.

Everyone else is doing Black Friday Specials a bit early - so are we! Mildred sure would look great under your Christmas tree! 🎄

She is a May AHCA Heifer ( #68833) out of our silver herd bull BTTR Iceman and our red cow We Tired Margo.

Genetically she is a dun since she is out of a red cow/silver bull and the coloring is too dark to be a yellow. She is such an interesting heifer - she looks dark red, dun underneath her top coat, and is frosted with light/dark blonde highlights. We are going to go ahead and get her color tested to be sure. She’s is sound structured, has a great disposition, and is working well on the halter.

{She is discounted a bit due to the coloring question we have! If you have asked on price before, she may be in your price range now!}

**The spot on her shoulder is from rubbing on the hay ring, she’s been poured and hair is filling back in, vet inspection will be passed before she leaves our farm.

**Updated 9/12 - down to 1!**

We may have had plenty of rain for our pastures but there are not enough pens to keep them all!

We have 3 AHCA Highland Heifers we are offering this year, all were sired by our herd bull BTTR Iceman!

**Sold**Hayley: (bottom right) DOB April 7. We have been showing this one a bit and will make a great project for a young showman. Lyndee is 6 years old and has been able to handle this one easily! (Dam: CBS Wendy’s Haven)

Mildred: (top right) DOB May 27th. She is still running with her momma and is full of cockle burrs so she doesn’t look a fuzzy as the other two (she is the middle child😂). She is quiet in the pasture and will have “frosting” like her mother! (Dam: We Tired Margo)

**Sold**Bessie: (left side with our bull Iceman) DOB June 27th. She is so pretty! She is quiet and curious in the pasture, she will make a great show prospect! (Dam: HVF Lady Mckenzie)

*all dams and sire are in our pasture and can be seen when coming to look at the heifers
*all heifers will be broke to tie, brushed, and weaned
