We gave our farmhouse tables a little tlc and it ended up giving them a big transformation! Knocking more little projects out one at a time. It’s perfect timing with the hint of fall weather we had this morning, too!!

We’re finally posting some sneak peaks of our covered Chapel addition! The structure is built and now we get to focus on the fun small details!!
We still have to finish board and batten in some areas, hang 6 beautiful chandeliers, and we are currently working on landscaping that includes white roses and magnolia trees. We are also going to add a beautiful white buffet with a cross at the end, long white benches for ceremony seating, and white walls to go along with the church doors inside the Chapel entrance.
Leading up to the Chapel we will have hanging lights on shepherds hooks outlining the walkway entrance. We are also planning on adding more hanging lights in other areas of the venue… just like our brides love!
These pictures are just a sneak peak because we have so many other additions in store to finish out the look. The final build is going to look a lot different than these pictures and we are so excited how it’s all going to turn out. Thank you to all of our brides that have been patient and trusted us in this build for their Big Day! 🤍🤍🤍

Hey y’all! We’ve been a little MIA on here lately. Our Chapel addition and traveling out of the country has kept us extra busy!
We’ve had a TON of wedding inquiries here lately and I think we are now caught up on all of them. If you haven’t received an email/text back from us, shoot us another inquiry back because we may have skipped over it.

We have been getting so many email wedding inquires lately and to make our lives easier we wanted to say that we are now FULLY booked for the entirety of 2023… unless we get any cancellations. We have now been accepting 2024 bookings.

This past Saturday at midnight we were JUMPING for JOY as we closed on our last Spring 2022 wedding!!!
We couldn’t have chosen a better bride + groom + their family to end this wedding season with. We always close off our calendar around this time to spend quality time with family and because it is so hot outside.
During this off season we will break ground on our new addition to the venue! Very SOON, actually. For us… this may be the most exciting addition yet…😍

Oh Happy Day!!
Or should we say… oh, what a HOT day it is today! Thank goodness we provide plenty of fans around the venue and thank goodness for air conditioning!
For now, we’re reminiscing on the wedding from this past weekend and soon we will be wrapping up our Spring 2022 weddings!!

A surprise proposal happened in the barn this past Sunday evening! Jacob decided to propose in the barn under the hanging lights after twirling Amie around. ❤️ Sooo sweet and we are so glad he chose our venue to do this. We love seeing customers enjoy our land and sweet things like this happening!

Happy International Women’s Day!
Honestly, if it wasn’t for Pam (pictured on the left), our business would NOT be where it is today. She has built our venue and Airbnb from the ground up with her amazing ideas and nothing would be how it is today without her!
She manages Liz (pictured in the middle) helping with social media, wedding inquires, and tours, she manages Caroline (pictured right) with wedding coordinating, and she manages our whole cleaning crew for the venue and Airbnb. On top of all that, she still helps communicate with our brides weekly about their upcoming Big Day and she also manages our very busy Airbnb business!
Pam does so many things for our business, even down to the little things, that so many people don’t even know or think about. We are SO thankful for her and how she keeps all of us in track and organized daily. We also know she is so thankful herself to have other women alongside her to help run our business! 💗

We have some happy Oak Hill Farm cows released on some green grazing grass today! This also means some happy farm workers who don’t have to worry about feeding the cows as much.
During the winter months when the grass isn’t growing, the cows typically have to be fed every other day to receive the nutrients they need. With close to 100 head of cattle, feeding up during the winter months takes up a lot of our time to care for our animals.
In the end, it is so rewarding knowing we are raising a safe and healthy product for consumers to enjoy. Farming isn’t always easy but knowing we are providing food for the world is something that keeps us going each day.

We have been absent on social media because we have a new addition to Oak Hill Farm! She came earlier than we expected, but our family welcomed 💗Cara Lynn Haney💗 on 2.9.22 weighing 2lbs 11oz. Caroline and Cara are doing great, but please keep them in your prayers!
February is a somewhat “calm” month for us because our owners, as you all may know, Mark and Pam, are celebrating their 30th anniversary this month. This year, we planned to only book one wedding this month due to their anniversary trip and now we are extremely thankful since baby Cara came early.
30 years is something to celebrate BIG, and what a testament it is to our brides and grooms! Everyone wish them a Happy Anniversary if you get the chance. 🤍

Happy Monday, friends! For once, we are so glad the weekend is behind us!
The cold temps like we had over the weekend can be very challenging with a cattle operation. We were busy managing our water pipes, making sure they don’t freeze or bust, and keeping our cattle warm and fed.
We will be enjoying the pretty weather forecasted for this week and praying for a beautiful upcoming wedding weekend!

Engagement season is upon us! Which means, we book a lot of tours and receive a lot of wedding bookings during this time.

It’s so special, especially to think back on all the years when all we had was just the barn when celebrating Thanksgiving. Things have changed, but we are so blessed and so thankful!

Let me first start by saying, this is truly the best BESTAirbnb we’ve ever stayed in. When we arrived to the silo, there was a basket full of goodies on the counter welcoming us. There was also a basket of tolitries in the bathroom including locally made soap. We could have truly not brought anything, Pam Plymel Stalvey had us already taken care of. What really won me over was the farm fresh eggs from their farm already in the fridge!
You have your own parking spot by the silo so you can come and go as you please. There is a beautiful outdoor hammock and claw foot bathtub for you to use as well. Everything is so uniquely done, the details will BLOW YOU AWAY.
They truly thought of everything.
There is a grill outside plus fresh herbs you can use to cook.
On Saturday night, we planned for my sweet friend, Courtney, to come take pictures of our date night. Little did we know, we would be dealing with a full monsoon. That was no match for Pam & Mark. Pam offers a charcuterie board + champagne as an option during your stay. They HANDLED EVERYTHING.
Pam & Mark set up the set up in 3 different locations due to the ever changing weather.
It turned out so perfectly.
It was so wonderful to be close to home but feeling like you are completely away.
We have already booked another weekend in September. I STRONGLY recommend you coming for a stay-cation here. You’ll not regret it. We will definitely make this a regular for us.
