We had a great day today at ILR Nationals. Both of our suri females won their class. Addy and Hayden took 1st and 2nd in youth judging. Hayden won Best of show youth shorn fleece. Addy place 3rd in showmanship, 4th and 5th in obstacle and PR. The girls had a blast all weekend and we're true to their personalities. Thank you to the entire show and sale team for putting together a great event.

#weareilr day 9 Gloria is my favorite female that we kept through our dispersal. She has a crazy story growing up an orphan in our house and yard after her dam prolapsed. She had also produced a LFA futurity winner, 2 NAILE futurity winners and a LFA high seller. She is also a huge friendly female that is a farm favorite anytime we walk out to the pasture. We have had numerous special animals but she is the only one that is absolutely unavailable to purchase.

Mach's Blackcloud was Best of Show Overall, Best of Show Male, and Grand Champion Extreme Heavy Wool under Deb Yeagle. 1st and Reserve Champion under Vanesa Carter. Thanks to Brad and Sylvia Deward for offering this exceptional male on the Cascade Sale.

Did our herd health and shearing today. The 6 month olds all got weaned and are looking great. There are 3 PVL Chilean Scorpion King offspring and 1 grand baby.

PVL Chilean Seshat had a great start to her show career. She was Grand Champion Suri female at 6 months and 3rd under the other judge. She was also 2nd in walking fleece.

HOLR Domino had his first show this weekend placing 3 rd behind two incredible males that tied for winning the mature futurity. I am extatic to add him to our herdsire lineup.

We had an incredible show at MLM starting with Addyson winning double Grand Champion in the junior show with PVL Chilean Tenley. She was also Grand Champion junior shorn fleece, and 3rd in walking fiber. She placed 1st and 4th in showmanship. Isabella also had a great show in sub junior completing all if her obstacles and bonding with PVL Georgia's Sweetheart. To top it off they had a great time playing with their llama friends.

It was an emotional week coming home to see most of our llamas gone on to new homes. We still don't know our long term plan, but we love the females that we still have on the farm and look forward to working with our small herd. We my parents, and my family all selected one female from the herd to keep. They all have a story behind them and bloodlines that represent what we have done over the last 25 years.

We would like to thank everyone for their support of our retirement sale. The support was overwhelming, and the names and number of people registering to bid was flattering. For us the most exciting part was seeing where all of the llamas went and how well they fit into their breeding programs. You can definitely tell the education level of the breeders in the industry today. We couldn't have had this sale without the support of our family. Justin Timm did fantastic job of marketing and ensuring that the animals were showcased to their potential. It has been an incredible 25 years of making friends and enjoying llamas. We thank you for what the llama industry has done for our family, and the friendships that we have developed.

5 out of 7 of these females have been awarded a Reserve Champion or better. The 2 youngest girls have not made it out in the show ring yet, but are hot prospects for NAILE, Nationals, and next year. This group has already won 2 Futurities and have potential to win more for their new owners.
