I got rid of all of my livestock yesterday. I’m not entirely sure I’ll pick it back up in the near future

On Easter Sunday my son was almost bitten by a copperhead. My son came in immediately and told me there was a snake with “Hershey kisses” in the coop. Lo and behold, my husband went back outside (as I was tending to dinner) and he found another one. The first Copperhead he found almost bit my son. It Automatically went into a “strike” pose. All Kaden did was walk by and was almost struck. My husband investigated further and found the second copperhead about 3 ft away and it was also aggressive. Both were dispatched. Keep in mind, we keep the beneficial snakes that eat rats and mice (with the occasional egg) and we relocate them outside of the property. Snakes that cause harm to family, pets and livestock are dealt with accordingly.

I’ve not logged in on my business page in a while. I’ve battled the flu with myself and my kids and then later an upper respiratory infection from us all. I’ve taken a break from social media because of all of this. Sick season is still upon us so I’m not sure if I’ll take another break or not! I’m sorry for the silence. Pics of my temps from my flu and of infection from my ears are attached. These are just fron MY illnesses, not the kids. Scroll if you’re sensitive.
