Hey folks, usually this would be me in the kitchen right now, (but of course better looking), 🫣unfortunately, we are out of dough until tomorrow. With the closing of Double Down Distributing plus the rising number of pizza orders that we have been getting, we ran out of dough until tomorrow. I am in the process of trying to make my own right now. Wish me luck.🫣😉
Just to let all our friends and neighbors know here in Modoc, if you haven’t already heard Double Down Distributing formally K&K shut its doors last week, which left a lot of us to scramble for new distributors and new product, I ask that y’all be patient with the local restaurants that you normally frequent. It has affected pretty much every business from Cedarville to Burney, and every place in between like here in Adin and the folks in Canby at the Adventure for the most part. Some of us are working together and ordering together until we can figure it out. I asked that you be patient with all of us, also if we can say a prayer for those guys at. Double Down . Not just for the owners, but for the employee as well y’all. They have families,bills to pay, and people to feed. Thank you all and God bless.

Took the wife’s car to Kevin to replace the ac pump and add freon, he did an amazing job with it. It’s so cold in there that we can’t even turn it all the way up even when we’re in Redding.
I also took my old 96 Suburban to get a tune, Kevin has that thing running like a champ. I think we found our mechanic, after trying so many other people he’s the best and I highly recommend him.

Hey folks, so there’s a rumor going around that the Adin Supply is going out of business. Believe me that’s the furthest thing from the truth. We are fighters and we’re not going to give up that easily. Sacramento thinks that by denying us a b**r license that we would have no choice but to close. And not just hurting us as owners but the community that we serve as well.
We know how they feel about us, it was abundantly clear when they did their redistricting. They effectively took away our voice and our right to “fair and equal representation “. But they underestimated us and our resolve, well at least they underestimated my wife and myself, I don’t know where everyone stands on that issue.
Another rumor that’s going around is that we are asking for donations. Again furthest thing from the truth, although we are feeling the pinch from not being able to sell b**r and w**e, we will never ask our friends and neighbors for money. Your business, yes. Please come in and shop we have added a bunch of new grocery items and our prices have come down since purchasing the store.
One thing that I will solicit from you guys, are your thoughts and prayers.

Taco Tuesday is back this week with some bold flavors in our carne asada. We start serving around 12:00 pm. And as always while tacos are being served we are not making any other food. It stretches me too thin.

Big shout out to Leah Sandberg for creating this beautiful poster for the store. If you haven’t seen it yet, come by and take a few minutes to get to know the history of the Adin Supply Co.

So folks as some of you may know, we were denied our b**r license because I am a convicted felon. B**r and w**e sales are a major part of the sales revenue here at the store. So this almost certainly means the end of the Adin Supply Company. Of course we have the right to file an appeal which we’re going to do it’s our only fighting chance. And anyone that knows me knows that I don’t go down without a fight.
In the meantime our temporary license is set to expire on Friday and we’re sitting on quite a bit of inventory. So we’re having a big sale on b**r and w**e.
We’re taking 25% off of our already low prices.
We don’t know what the future holds for us and the store,  but one thing is for sure this place has endured a lot of hardships under various owners, and we will endure throughout this, even if we have to reinvent the store to do so we will. We wanna think everyone for their support be very, very much appreciate all of you.

We want to apologize to everyone who has been trying to call the store on Sundays. We have an online phone service that was set up to send calls directly to voicemail on Sunday and as much as we’ve tried, we cannot change it for some reason. So I assure you that we are open on Sundays from 9 AM to 5 PM. Until we get this situation remedied I will include my cell phone number in this post so that you can call on Sundays and make your orders. Thank you and once again we apologize for any inconvenience .
