✨✨So incredibly proud of Eli! ✨✨

He has had an AMAZING run this summer ending his jackpot season then into his two goal shows of the year. Upshur County Youth Livestock and State Fair of West Virginia, bringing home some BIG accomplishments! 🏆

Eli and Alyza have both spent this summer raising some incredible doe goats, that hard work showed in the ring! They took home wins in Showmanship, Market, and Breeding classes at both County and State levels! 👏🏼

Watching them grow, learn, and gain confidence with every show has been one of our favorite parts of this whole experience. The early mornings, late nights, feeding, fitting, practicing, and all the hard work are definitely paying off!

Couldn’t be prouder of these kids and all they have accomplished! We can’t wait to add these does to our breeding program❤️🐐🏆

Keep working hard, Eli — we’re just getting started💪

What an incredible way to wrap up an amazing summer before Stare Fair!

Watching these Mountain State Show Series kids step back into their local county show and showcase everything they’ve worked so hard for has been nothing short of inspiring. The banners and awards tell part of the story, but they don’t tell the countless early mornings, late nights, long miles, practice sessions, setbacks, and determination that got them here.

Over the past few years, we’ve watched these exhibitors grow. Not just as competitors, but as young leaders. Their confidence has grown, their showmanship has improved, their livestock knowledge has expanded, and their work ethic continues to impress everyone around them.

This weekend wasn’t just about winning banners. It was about seeing the progress they’ve made, supporting one another, and proving that hard work truly pays off. Every one of these kids should be proud of how far they’ve come.

To our exhibitors: Never stop chasing your goals. Keep learning, stay humble, help each other, and remember that the greatest accomplishment isn’t the banner you take home, it’s the person you’re becoming along the journey.

We couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of you. Congratulations on an outstanding county fair, and here’s to an even bigger and brighter future for our Mountain State Show Series family! ❤️💙

Hard work. Dedication. Sportsmanship. Growth. That’s what this group represents. 🌟🏆🐐🐑🐖🐇🐓

After what feels like a lot of planning, hard work, and determination, our barn is finally finished… well, almost!

The only thing left is redesigning the sliding doors design to get it exactly how we want it, with double cross bucks. We’re so happy with how everything has come together and can’t wait to put it to good use.

Next on the list:

⚡ Electrical
💧 Water
🪨 Gravel

Every project brings us one step closer to the farm we’ve envisioned for our family and our animals. Thank you to everyone who has followed along, offered advice, lent a hand, and cheered us on throughout this journey. We can’t wait to share the next phase with all of you!

Stay tuned—there’s still plenty more to come here at DeGarmo Livestock! ❤️

🏆💪 We are excited to share that we moved up in the ranks and brought home Reserve Champion Weather Doe at the Wild & Wonderful Showdown! 🏆

Every show is a learning experience, seeing the progress from one show to the next and having all three kids with their goats in final drive makes moments like this even more rewarding. We are incredibly proud of the growth, determination, and sportsmanship of these kids shown throughout this show season!

Many years ago now! Our kids found two baby goats at the auction. We all squealed with excitement when they came out. Dad threw his hand in the air, and we left with two sickly little goats. Eli had been asking to show a goat in 4-H, so we figured we'd buy the goats and learn proper care before jumping into a large breed meat goat. Long story short, our kids love the livestock life. The new barn continues to go up, so it's only fitting we let these "first goats" be the first goats to go inside the new barn. And of course, W***y ate a piece of plastic, tried to swallow a screw, and bit my finger while I was trying to get it back. 😝 follow along as we learn and grow with your kids and livestock.

These kids had an absolute blast showing and spending time together, making memories that will last a lifetime. Their hard work, dedication, and love for their animals paid off with an exciting achievement—bringing home 4th Overall Breeding Doe!

Congratulations on an amazing day, and thank you to everyone who supports these young exhibitors and their livestock projects. Their future’s are bright! 🌟🏆

Thinking of a rabbit ???? Some breeds live 8-10 years and come in many sizes. We sale rabbits a few times a year and currently have some mini Rex/ lop babies ready to go.
