We wanted to post and let everyone see why the chickens have been off with their laying all summer, leading to closing up the stand earlier than normal this season.

Our not so livestock friendly friends (a fox, possibly family of foxes), that live in ours/our neighbors woods have gotten a lot more comfortable with us around and started making their presence known. The neighbors sent us this photo this morning, and while the fox is beautiful they also love chicken as a meal.😆 We have the chickens locked up safe and are working on making them feel all nice, cozy and most importantly SAFE for the upcoming winter.

Keep checking back in for updates and we hope to see everyone again with a fully opened stand in the New Year 🥰
