As we head into the busy holiday season, we want to support our community and help ensure everyone has access to nutritious food. All of our remaining squash from this season is now available under the front porch of the barn on a self-serve, pay-what-you-can basis.

If your family could use some food right now, please take what you need- no questions asked. If you’re able to contribute, we kindly welcome donations in the drop box. Every dollar collected will be donated directly to local food banks.

Our only request is that everyone be mindful of others and take only what they need. And if you’re able, please find a way to pay it forward in the future. ❤️

Tomorrow, Thursday October 30th, is our final day open for the season. Fred (and the rest of the Carpenter family) is ready for a little R & R after the busy season 😴

We will be open 10 am - 7 pm tomorrow and still have a nice selection of squash (stock up for the winter!), pumpkins, donuts (secret tip: they freeze well so you can have a taste of Carpenter Farms in the off season), and of course fun!

Come see us and enjoy the final day of pumpkin season! 🎃

Now is the perfect time to stock up on in-season squash for the winter!

Winter squash like butternut, acorn, and spaghetti store beautifully for months, as long as they’re stored correctly.

Watch the video below to learn how to properly store squash so you can enjoy it all winter long. A little prep now = cozy soups, roasted sides, and nourishing meals later. Stock up while harvests are fresh!

Our Story

We will be open September 14, 2019- October 31, 2019! Our daily hours are 10 am - dusk. Our free activities include: a huge corn can for 10 and under, a quaint corn box for 2 and under, and a straw maze-- the perfect way to challenge your youngster in a fun learning environment; be sure to visit and learn about our baby farm friends and fowl! Play in the straw pit, or try your navigation skills in our mystery corn maze! $5 for adults, 5 and under are free. Additionally we offer a 20 minute tour of our over 100 year old family farm. Our covered wagon is handicap accessible, tickets are for $5 for adults, 5 and under are free (rides Saturday & Sunday only, and weather permitting). After you have enjoyed all the activities we have to offer, refreshments are available! Come inside and relax with hot or cold cider, hot coca and coffee, $1 each--maybe even try a cider slushy for $2?--and our fresh donuts, made in house daily for $1 each, $5 for a half dozen, or a dozen for $10. JRs Concessions will be here with elephant ears, funnel cakes, and hand-squeezed lemonade! Newly offered this year is a snack trailer including hot dogs, pretzels, french fries and more! As always, at the core of our business is our pumpkins. We have a large variety of pumpkins and gourds available for your decorating and baking needs. Corn stalks, bundles of Indian Corn, 3 sizes of straw bales, mums and more! We accept all major credit cards with a purchase of $5 or more. There are many places to take family pictures as well, so come on out and make memories while building a family tradition for years to come.
