Two things. We are so thankful for the generosity of this community. The annual poppy drive, In only two hours Friday afternoon Sept 4th we collected over $1800.00. That money can only be spent on Veterans assistance programs and needs.
Second, The September 11th remembrance ceremony held at the Adrian optimist community building was very well done. The speakers were amazing and the whole program was thoughtful and sincere. We veterans thank Chief Dizney for inviting us to participate. God bless America!

Janie Smith cooks up a different baked treat every month or so and brings it to the VFW Post. Wednesday Feb 18th was no different as she brought in a tasty cobbler for us old Vets to enjoy. But, this time she also brought us a floor matt she had made as a very special gift!
