Apologies! We are canceling our open farm day for this Sunday 9/13. Our crop is too small. Looking forward to Haralson tasting and c***r pressing on Sunday, 9/27. Stay tuned for more details!

Apple season is here! Sadly, our crop is very small this year due to late frost, insects, deer, and a drought. We will be hosting a handful of open farm days for folks to visit and pick small quantities, press c***r, and hang out. Come see us on September 13th and 27th, October 4th and 18th. More updates to come. 🍎 ♥️

Some sad news to share. The beloved elm tree of Elm Tree Farm is struggling. We suspect it has Dutch Elm Disease as it was believed to be resistant but not immune. We started pruning one half of the tree to remove dead wood in hopes it can recover. The tree is estimated to be 125 years old. More updates to come. 🌳 🤍

A great thing about an organic orchard is the diverse wildlife viewing, particularly insects. These are just a few species from this weekend. An Essex skipper, a Green immigrant weevil, and a Brown wasp mantidfly. 🪲🦋

Seems like a sleepy day in the orchard but things are starting to ramp up. Fruitlets are forming, bees are working, and everyday is one day closer to harvest. 🍎 🐝

It’s springtime in the orchard! 🩷 🤍 🐷 🌺 🍎
