Folks have told us how disappointed they are that there won’t be any cherry picking at Spring Valley Orchard this year. Our family is just as sad that forces outside our control canceled one of our favorite annual traditions.

We will not be opening for the 2026 pick-your-own sweet cherry season. Unfortunately, late freezes this April impacted all of our crop and forced us to cancel the season.

We’re saddened to announce that Spring Valley Orchard will not be opening for the 2026 season. Unfortunately, we experienced 100% crop loss in our sweet cherries during two freeze events this April.

We know how disappointing this news is for our loyal customers and friends, and we share that disappointment. Your continued support over the years has meant so much. Mother Nature willing, we’ll return better than ever in 2027.

In the meantime, we would love to see you this summer for pick-your-own fruits at our sister venues, Chiles Peach Orchard and Carter Mountain Orchard.
