SAN Meat Packing is proud to be the first USDA-inspected facility in East Tennessee to offer in-house USDA Beef Grading.

We now grade our premium Angus beef using official standards from the United States Department of Agriculture, including Select, Choice, and Prime classifications—giving our customers verified quality you can trust.

Even more, we now offer USDA grading as a service to farmers and producers, bringing faster turnaround, transparency, and convenience right here locally.

Locally raised. Expertly processed. Officially graded.

U.S. grades are based on nationally uniform standards of quality developed by AMS. These standards promote uniformity and assurance of product quality on a continuous basis regardless of supplier. The official USDA grade shield indicates the product's quality level.
