We have all survived the night and are doing better than expected. There are about 27 hours left to go in this bitter polar vortex storm. This morning it was -25 F (-31 C) outside but +6 F (-14 C) in the barn. (Real temp, not wind chill temp.) We hung up some of our safety heat lamps that we used to use for lambing so the sheep could go under them to warm up a bit, especially the old ones. (The sheep with the eye spots is Sparky who will be 15 at the end of March.)
