Autumn, you’ve really outdone yourself!

Beautiful blooms, an abundance of flowers, and a whole lot to be thankful for. Our hearts are full, our buckets are fuller, and we wouldn’t trade this flower-filled chaos for anything.

Dreaming of ranunculus in your spring garden?

All those layers of petals begin with a small, claw-shaped corm.

Here are a few starting points from our Farm Journal:

• For northern outdoor gardens, fall is a time to plan. Keep corms cool and dry until your late-winter or spring start. Your climate and growing setup shape the timing.
• When you’re ready, our guide starts with about four hours of soaking. Too much soaking can lead to rot.
• Use a container with drainage, and keep the potting mix moist, not soggy.
• Growing in Zones 5–6? Tunnels, frost cloth and containers change the plan.
