Little recap of my Napa get away before the UC Davis Wine Executive program! We visited some fabulous wineries, both small and large, enjoyed some tasty food and got to see some wonderful people along the way!

Most people who follow my account are either following my AJA journey or maybe he came here for the cocktails but an important thing is to know that the wine industry is struggling right now. Visitation has been down and people are moving away from consuming wine.

Wine has been a huge part of human history and the industry is trying to make changes to bring consumers back to the market.

I do want to share a few things that may get you to want to visit Wine country:

1) wine tasting is not just drinking wine. It’s a full experience and when you meet people who love what they do, they share their passion with you.

2) a lot of of these producers. In fact, the majority of producers on the market are small producers. Often family owned wineries that have been making wine for generations.

3) it’s totally understandable that Wine can be intimidating, but there are so many incredible wineries out there that focused on making wine drinking approachable!

You just have to find the ones whose stories resonate with you!

So I wanna leave you with a quick question that maybe can help others in the industry cater their products to you:
