We are currently looking for a reliable, experienced horse person to help with feeding and basic barn care a few times a week in exchange for board, lessons, or 💰 — we are willing to work out a deal for the right person.
What we are looking for:
-Someone dependable
-Comfortable handling multiple horses independently
-Able to notice if something is “off” with a horse
-Confident handling situations if things don’t go according to plan
-Experience with blanketing, turnout, feeding routines, and general horse care
-Someone who works well in a relaxed, team-oriented environment
Feeding typically takes less than an hour, while blanketing season may take around an hour depending on weather and turnout needs. No stalls or picking paddocks required. Flexible scheduling — pick your own days. We are easy to work with and don’t believe in overworking people… barn life is hard enough already. 😉
We are a 24-acre boarding, training, and competition barn specializing in Eventing and Dressage, though we dabble in a little bit of everything. Most importantly, we are a close-knit barn family who genuinely enjoys the horses and the people here.
