Yesterday evening, I checked on some food plots. It started raining, so I climbed in a stand since I was on a four-wheeler. I lucked up and got to watch some hens and about 10 or so poults scratching around in the oats we left. That's what we're working for.

A month ago, I had pretty much written this field off. Between the hogs tearing through the wheat and the drought, there wasn’t much clover to be seen. I hadn’t ridden by since we finally got some rain, and to my surprise, it’s absolutely rockin’ and rollin’ now!
