In case you haven’t heard, our farm has grown by 8 “little feet”. 🥰
11 days ago we welcomed Goose and Chipmunk (Chippy) onto the farm and into our house. These little rascals are the sweetest girls and they have a natural prey drive already…. which will be much appreciated when they start hunting all the mice! Thank you Mrs. Michelle for our sweet babies. They fit in perfectly with our little family. 🥰

I have naturally straight hair……. This is my hair after working outside this morning for *max* three hours 🙃
Welcome to the south baby!! Mosquitos are our state bird and the air is so thick you could chew it! I’ve said multiple times today that I’m sweating like a sinner in church.🤣🤣

The kiddos and I got to do a farm visit yesterday at Rutland Ranch and play with the bacon bits!! I think this was all of our first times touching pigs and these cuties wanted to EAT my hands!! *Cue slight panic* I did walk away with all 10 fingers and a dirty hand, but it was worth all the snorts. Thank you for having us Maggie!

Who knew I’d be crying over having to cull a sick rooster?? I don’t want him suffering but I haven’t worked up the nerve to do it myself. When Creighton gets home, I know he’d do it, so maybe just cuddling with Big Red until then. 😢😭
When you have livestock, you’re bound to have dead stock. I know it’s all a part of the process, but Daggum it sucks.
