This never gets old! Quiet disposition... beautiful shape... OCC Daylight 848D daughter 711J and her brand new Orton Flagstaff 4T4 or OCC Flagstaff 862F heifer calf that was just born. Got her weighed, tattooed and tagged! 🤠🙏🏼 Beautiful Sunday evening!

We have two SWAG winners... but first...

I've debated whether or not to even make this post with all of the fires 🔥 that have been raging throughout the Sandhills this past week. 🥺 Do as you wish, but we would like to invite everyone to pray for the ranch and farm families and firefighters that have been affected by this. 🙏🏼 Heavenly Father does answer prayers. We may not understand all of the reasons why life offers so many challenges but I know personally that good and positive things can be found in all bad situations and events that happen in our lives. 🥹

What a blessing it has been for me to travel the highways 🛣️ and back roads of America this past 7 weeks! Traveled through 21 states and tallied 17,562 miles to be exact! 😅

Have met some of the purest, God fearing 🙏🏼 people that have ever walked the earth, 🌎 along the way!

On the road there's also been many a quiet time to ponder and reflect... or... jamming to some good tunes 🎸🥁... listening to powerful religious 🧎‍♂️‍➡️podcasts... and daily sports 🏒🥅 talk radio... but mostly I enjoy the quiet ☺️... it gives time to reflect on the beautiful earth 🌎 that God has given for us to enjoy and to take care of, as well as all of the other blessings that we enjoy in this life. Like Faith, Family, Friends, Red Angus Cattle, Horses and Health!

And the SWAG is going to.... 🥁

Jeremiah Krysl, who was only 62 miles off at 17,500 miles and Maria Berchtold, who was 92 miles off with a guess of 17,654! Congrats! 🎉

Let's do this again next year! 🤠

After making a couple stops in Minnesota, the "Bull Hauler Rig" drove across the Mackinac Bridge which is a 5 mile bridge that joins the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with the lower part of the state. Frozen 🥶 Lakes Michigan (On the West) and Huron (On the East) separates the two land bodies of Michigan! 🤠

And if you ever make it to South Central Michigan you'll definitely want to stop by my dear friends and customers Farm Store... Red Hill Farms MI... Owned and operated by Jason and Brooke, they have Homemade Soap 🧼, Grass Finished Beef 🥩, Farm raised pork 🐖, Pure Michigan Maple 🍁 Syrup, and Honey 🍯!

The next morning came the opportunity to deliver a bull to new friends, Jerry and Janet and to check out their Grass Finished Beef 🥩 Operation! Very impressive! We also went into Ann Arbor to see "The Big House" where the Michigan Wolverines play football. 🏈😎

Thank you Brooke and Janet for the Coconut Chocolate Chip Bars and Chocolate Chip Cookies 🍪😋!!!

Just made it off the highway and can't help but notice the blessing of a Beautiful Sunset to enjoy as the rig makes it back to the ranch! 🙏🏼☺️

We had a great time at the Heart City Bull Bash in Valentine, Nebraska on Valentines Day visiting with several happy customers and we also made some new friends as well!

Finally made it to Muskogee, Oklahoma to deliver a bull and to see what ol' Merle Haggard was talkin' about 🤠! Drove through the Palo Duro Canyon in Texas, which was flat out breathtaking 😍!! Came out on top in the dark and looked to the east and saw the lights of Amarillo in the distance! Had to pull up Chris Ledoux's "Lights of Amarillo" song in order to fully appreciate the moment! Good times and HAPPY CUSTOMERS!!! 😊☀️

Woke up this morning to a beautiful sunrise driving to Colorado! ☀️🙏🏼🤠

Clay and I definitely had to stop at Casey's for some of their breakfast pizza! 😋

First stop... Axtell Cattle Company, who's Bull sale is coming up on Monday, March 30!

We had a chance to go through the Bulls! They are Super Nice, Quiet and Stout! And... the cows behind them are exceptional!

After dropping off some bulls in Delta, Utah my new friends, brothers Alan and Jared took me to the local High School to check out the trophy's and to see my dad's name on the wall. My dad won a Wrestling State Championship back in 1955 here in Delta! What a blessing this was as I was able to reflect on my father and his days as a youth in Delta! 🥹 It's been 3 years since his passing and I am so grateful to have had such a close relationship with him. He taught me so much!
