We had a great time last Friday getting a couple groups of calves branded! So grateful for the blessings of some moisture 🌧️ these last few weeks and great friends to help get this job done! The smashburgers 🍔were a hit!

It was a beautiful morning ☀️ to saddle up the horses 🐴 and get the cows and their new baby calves out to grass! We like to do this in a low stress manner and not be in a rush. Once the cattle are to their first summer pasture we hold them up and pair them out so that we know that the mamas have found their calves. This is always fun to do when your horseback! 😊 Heck, we even got a shot of rain 🌧️ (which we haven't had much of) on the ride back home! 🙏🏼 🤠

We have two SWAG winners... but first...

I've debated whether or not to even make this post with all of the fires 🔥 that have been raging throughout the Sandhills this past week. 🥺 Do as you wish, but we would like to invite everyone to pray for the ranch and farm families and firefighters that have been affected by this. 🙏🏼 Heavenly Father does answer prayers. We may not understand all of the reasons why life offers so many challenges but I know personally that good and positive things can be found in all bad situations and events that happen in our lives. 🥹

What a blessing it has been for me to travel the highways 🛣️ and back roads of America this past 7 weeks! Traveled through 21 states and tallied 17,562 miles to be exact! 😅

Have met some of the purest, God fearing 🙏🏼 people that have ever walked the earth, 🌎 along the way!

On the road there's also been many a quiet time to ponder and reflect... or... jamming to some good tunes 🎸🥁... listening to powerful religious 🧎‍♂️‍➡️podcasts... and daily sports 🏒🥅 talk radio... but mostly I enjoy the quiet ☺️... it gives time to reflect on the beautiful earth 🌎 that God has given for us to enjoy and to take care of, as well as all of the other blessings that we enjoy in this life. Like Faith, Family, Friends, Red Angus Cattle, Horses and Health!

And the SWAG is going to.... 🥁

After making a couple stops in Minnesota, the "Bull Hauler Rig" drove across the Mackinac Bridge which is a 5 mile bridge that joins the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with the lower part of the state. Frozen 🥶 Lakes Michigan (On the West) and Huron (On the East) separates the two land bodies of Michigan! 🤠

And if you ever make it to South Central Michigan you'll definitely want to stop by my dear friends and customers Farm Store... Red Hill Farms MI... Owned and operated by Jason and Brooke, they have Homemade Soap 🧼, Grass Finished Beef 🥩, Farm raised pork 🐖, Pure Michigan Maple 🍁 Syrup, and Honey 🍯!

The next morning came the opportunity to deliver a bull to new friends, Jerry and Janet and to check out their Grass Finished Beef 🥩 Operation! Very impressive! We also went into Ann Arbor to see "The Big House" where the Michigan Wolverines play football. 🏈😎

Just made it off the highway and can't help but notice the blessing of a Beautiful Sunset to enjoy as the rig makes it back to the ranch! 🙏🏼☺️
