Sometimes... the greatest joy on the ranch besides family and the beautiful red cattle, is just a soft and quiet evening with a sunset that I can't stop staring at! ☺️

It was a beautiful morning ☀️ drive through one of the pastures... the recent rains 🌧️ sure have been a blessing! 🙏🏼 Thought we would take a few snapshots of some cows for you to enjoy!

Let's AI some heifers! 🤠 We run a pretty simple AI protocol, which works quite nicely! Bulls in for 5 days, pull bulls, give a shot, put a patch on... heat detect... breed! Bulls back in couple days later!

We had a great time last Friday getting a couple groups of calves branded! So grateful for the blessings of some moisture 🌧️ these last few weeks and great friends to help get this job done! The smashburgers 🍔were a hit!

It was a beautiful morning ☀️ to saddle up the horses 🐴 and get the cows and their new baby calves out to grass! We like to do this in a low stress manner and not be in a rush. Once the cattle are to their first summer pasture we hold them up and pair them out so that we know that the mamas have found their calves. This is always fun to do when your horseback! 😊 Heck, we even got a shot of rain 🌧️ (which we haven't had much of) on the ride back home! 🙏🏼 🤠
