Two things:

- First flowers of the year are being cut tomorrow! Not peonies, but our snaps and other spring babies are finally starting. I have super, super limited availability for arrangements this Friday!! Message me if you would like a (likely) afternoon delivery.
- Mother’s Day flowers are happening! Delivery for Mother’s Day arrangements will be Friday 5/12. It’s been such and odd winter and spring, so I will be partnering with a farmer friend in Bham to supplement flowers for our arrangements. Supply is limited. Message me to secure your arrangements for your favorite mothers and mother figures.

Picture of one of the only peonies to bloom for me this spring that my five year old lovingly picked (on a 4 inch stem) for a butterfly. 🥴😅🙃

I just adore watching the bees.

Nature and chicken coop building sounds ahead. 💓

Lots of preparations for these incoming cold temps over the last fews days. The beds are in terrible disarray after a half a season of neglect, but this was such a wonderful sight. Little Veronica just doing her thing unaware of what is coming her way. Maybe we (I) should do more of that….just keep growing. Worry less about what’s going on around us. Make sure to water and feed yourself well and overcome those life storms that you don’t even see coming. If Veronica can, so can you.

Hi there! It’s been quite a while since I dropped in with a life/farm update, and for that I apologize.

First, a little acknowledgement that my social media business app stopped giving me notifications about two months ago. Guess when I found out? …..This morning when I saw someone complain of the same and came to share that good news. I have messages to get back to. I’m sorry. How horrible to just flat out be ignored when you took the time to inquire or message??? I am sorry for that. Ugh…technology sometimes.

Second, the house is done, and we have been in for a few weeks now! We still have a little to do, but we can get to that here and there. These last few months got a bit crazy, but surely life will settle down at some point, surely. 🤪

Third, fall is upon on us (as you can tell by these temps today), and we have plenty to do to get back in this groove for spring flowers! I’ll sporadically post updates through fall and winter.

Fourth, anyone who knows me, knows that I don’t do so well with potted plants. (I even set a record for killing my school fundraiser mums this year.) BUT I really want to get better and want live plants in our home. A dear friend brought me this beauty as a housewarming gift. Don’t worry….they also brought a beautiful division of their snake plant and said that I absolutely can’t kill it, to which I said “challenge accepted.” But in all seriousness, I’m going to try. Anyone have one of these babies and would like to share guidance on being a good mother to her?

Finally, I still can’t thank you all enough for your support these past few seasons. Even when I had to cut this one short. Y’all are just the best.

Hubba. Hubba. So grateful to a friend for letting me try some of these this year.

It’s been a while since we had an post. Passing a plant clearance rack without saving a few is not a strong suite of mine. However, planting in fall will be so much better of a time for these babies. So, Gus and I go out and water them daily while he sneaks a few sips for himself.
