I am posting this because I have gotten several requests to see my family had a go fund me in place for my husband who was the victim of hit run accident on October 3rd. 2026 in Akron Ohio

Police are still investigating- if you witnessed this accident please reach out the hit/skip department of Akron Police.

Hi, I wanted to share the Kelly family’s story because 9-year-old Elyse waited years for Snickerdoodle, and finally got her last Christmas, only to lose her less than a year later. Robert was walking Snickerdoodle in the marked crosswalk near Merriman Road and Memorial Parkway when a car struck them and drove away; he fractured both bones in his left leg, has a severed right hamstring requiring surgery, and still can’t stand. The fundraiser is already more than three-quarters of the way to its $5,000 goal, with 58 donations helping cover Robert’s medical care, a supportive recliner, and Snickerdoodle’s memorial expenses. Last night was truly a magical beautiful evening at Bath Hollow Farm. With Live music from Carolina and Yoga with Lisa at OneTreeLove. In the mist of crisis and extreme overwhelm I am glad we didn’t need to cancel this event. It was nice to do something normal and share in the love of nature. Everyone who came out and made the event happen I am truly thankful for and blessed to be surrounded by people who care. I really did have a wonderful time. Thank you. I may be closing my flower down for the season but this isn’t the end it’s a recalibration. Join my newsletter for updates on future events.

Lots of people have been asking about Snickerdoodle. Lots of people have reached out and asked how they could help. Plenty of people have asked if they could provide meals for us.
Let me tell you I will accept all for your meals with coordination. Everyone loves a good premade dinner.
However, we have a few unexpected expenses that I told Robert we could accept financial assistance with.
1. We are having snickerdoodle cremated.
2. We are getting a electronic lift chair for Robert. He has extensive injuries in both of his legs and will need Assistance getting up and down.
3. We are sponsoring a treat station at the Akron dog park and a donations above what we need for the cremation and the chair will be given to the Akron dog park on Memorial Parkway.

Neighbors and fellow Akronites please unite around me and help me find out who hit my husband and dog in the intersection of Merriman Road and Memorial Parkway.
You do not have to share the information with me, but please come forward and share the information with the Akron Police Department
This accident happened on Saturday October 3 evening between 930 and 9:45 PM.

Information that I know so far only from post that I found is that it might’ve been a gray SUV

My husband was struck in the intersection and he hit the person’s hood and then there windshield and then was thrown over on the passenger side of the car. He going to be OK but he has a broken leg and he’s been bumped up pretty bad. Our dog was hit and killed. The driver drove away.

It’s hard to put into words the meaning behind this year, but I’m so thankful for the support and the love of my flowers and my farm stand, attending my workshops and watching and cheering on the growth of myself and this business. While this is the last weekend to get flowers be sure to follow along my newsletter so you can know all the things that I’m planting for next year and all the fun goodies and surprises that we have still coming.
