Just returned from presenting POYO Palm Wine to Montgomery County ABS.

One of my favorite moments was sharing palm wine with six people who had never experienced this centuries-old drink before. Watching a cultural tradition become a completely new experience for someone—that’s exactly why we started POYO.

Thank you to everyone who called, texted, prayed, encouraged me, and sent well wishes. I felt every bit of that support today. ❤️

Now, we wait.

A big week for POYO Palm Wine. 🌴🍷

What started with a simple vision — bringing the heritage of palm wine to a wider world — continues to grow.

This Tuesday, POYO Palm Wine will be presenting to Montgomery County Alcohol Beverage Services in Maryland as we work toward bringing POYO to more consumers and retail locations.

Every new market represents more than distribution. It represents another opportunity to introduce people to a wine with generations of history behind it.

Africa and India gave the world palm wine. We’re building the brand that will take it around the world. 🌍

Another major milestone for POYO.

POYO is officially scheduled to present before the Montgomery County Alcohol Beverage Services Listing Committee.

This is another important step toward making premium African palm wine more widely available in Maryland.

POYO Palm Wine has been approved for distribution through Montgomery County Alcohol Beverage Services (ABS), Maryland.

Very soon, you’ll be able to purchase authentic African palm wine at your local Montgomery County ABS store.

Just imagine…

This is more than a product launch—it’s another step in bringing one of Africa’s oldest naturally fermented beverages to a wider audience while celebrating its rich culture and heritage.
