From a 30,000-foot view… it’s hard not to sit back and appreciate what this place, these sheep, and most importantly the people behind them have meant to us over the years.
Now that reflection and reality have started to sit in — and the ewes have slowly started to depart — we simply want to say THANK YOU.
To every bidder, buyer, underbidder, visitor, phone caller, message sender, supporter, and friend — thank you for believing in the program, the livestock, and the vision. The amount of support shown over the course of the week was humbling in every sense of the word.
What made this sale special wasn’t just the dollar figures or the banners represented throughout the pedigrees. It was the stories, the memories, the relationships, and the realization of just how many people have become part of the journey along the way.
It’s impossible to build something like this without great people surrounding you, and we don’t take that for granted for one second.
A special thank you as well to Morgan Zeltman-Jones for spending countless hours helping picture and present this set in a way that truly captured what they meant to us. The long days, late nights, and attention to detail never went unnoticed.
Another huge thank you goes to Novel Designs for the incredible work on the catalog design, marketing pieces, and overall presentation throughout the week. Their creativity, professionalism, and ability to help tell the story behind these sheep played a major role in making this event what it was.
While “Rewriting History” marked the closing of one chapter, we’re incredibly excited for the next one. The passion still burns hot, the goals are still high, and we’re as motivated as ever about what’s ahead.
