AKRON × NORKA × ART × LOVE 🤩❤️

We’re incredibly proud to see NORKA become part of this beautiful mural at the historic Highland Square Theatre.

A huge thank you to AART x LOVEfor bringing this vision to life, and to HHighland Square Theatrefor being such a wonderful partner in celebrating Akron’s history, creativity, and community.

NORKA was born right here in Akron in 1924, and it means a lot to us to see our hometown roots represented in a piece of art like this. ❤️

Here’s to Akron, Highland Square, and the people who keep making this city special!

Akron spelled backwards… still tastes just as good. 😉

We were lucky enough to grab a couple Norka’s while stopping for ice cream at Durbin’s Magic Freeze after a long day.

If you ask us, it’s the best soda around!

One of the things we enjoy most about owning a local family business is supporting other small businesses in our community. We know firsthand how much every customer matters, so whenever we have the chance, we try to shop local too.

Thanks, Durbin’s, for another great stop after a long day, and thanks to Norka for keeping a little piece of Akron history alive.

Here’s to supporting the small businesses that make our community such a great place to live. ❤️

📜 NORKA Archive Find!

While digging through our archives, we uncovered this original NORKA invoice from 1948.

The order:
🥤 2 cases of NORKA Orange
💰 Total cost: $1.60

That got us thinking…

If you could travel back to 1948 with $10 in your pocket, what would you spend it on?

🥤 NORKA
🍔 Burgers
🎥 A movie
⛽ Gasoline
🍭 Candy

Let us know below!👇

Nearly 80 years later, we’re still proud to be part of Akron’s story. ❤️
