We have been holding a Best decorated tree contest for several years now, but want to change it up a little this year.

This year we are asking to see pictures of your family tradition on selecting a tree at Potters.

Every family has a tradition on selecting the family Christmas tree and we want to see what it is. Show us how you select a tree, favorite part of the farm, the reason you come back. Our family will then select a winner and they will receive a free Christmas tree next year.

Also this year we would like to see your best Griswold, Grinch, ugly Christmas sweater, Santa Claus, etc. out at the farm selecting a tree. The winner of this photo will receive a free greenery item.

Hope to see you this weekend and Happy Thanksgiving to all

*Christmas in July*

We would like to THANK all of you that entered the contest this year. This year was once again difficult to choose a winner. We tried to have one selected at Christmas but, we had a bunch of entries to go through and then got busy planting, mowing, and of course Little League games, so thank you for being patient.

Winning this year is Kylene Crabb. Congratulations to Kylene and her family for a beautifully decorated tree. In second place is Brooke Carlson Painter and in third place is Heather Morris Bradley. The winners will be contacted via Facebook to confirm details on receiving their certificates. Thank you all once again, on another great year at Potters. As a reminder, you can begin tagging your tree any time after Labor Day. (September 7th)

ANNOUNCMENT!!!
Closing for the Season Early…

Awe-inspiring praise, support, and loyalty have made Potter’s Tree Farm into a great success and we have all of YOU to thank for that. Because of this support and praise we are beginning to run thin on trees and for this reason TODAY will be the final day that we are open this season. Thank you for all of the patronage and loyalty over the years, we just wish we were able to grow trees as fast as we have increased friends over the last few years. If you have a tree already tagged you are still welcome to it but please call the number listed on our page to ensure best service. Grave Pillows, Grave Blankets, Wreaths, and other greenery items will also still be available for purchase; you can call our number to check what is still available. We recognize that this is an inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.

P.S- Our tree decorating contest is still open, so please continue to send in your entries.

Announcement!!

Due to the OVERWHELMING support we have received this year, we have decided to close off a few sections for the remainder of this season. We are doing this to help promote growth in some of our mid-height choices to hopefully have a quality assortment for all of you next season. We will be offering a selection of pre-cuts and what is remaining in our open sections for the rest of this season.

Also, you still have time to enter the 3rd Annual Potter Christmas Tree Decorating Contest. Just tag us in a picture of your Decorated Potter Tree or send it to us as a message on Facebook.

12/18/2013

Wanted to give all of you a few updates. First, you still have some time to take part in our 2nd annual tree decorating contest. All entries must be in before Noon on Christmas Eve for a chance to win. Secondly, for the remainder of this season we will be offering Pre-cuts Only. This is due to the field conditions brought on by the recent snows and the high probability of bad weather this coming weekend. We are very sorry for this inconvenience and hope you understand. The Pre-cut barn still has several trees that are in need of a home. And lastly, all greenery items will be 25% off starting today. Thank all of you for your support and have a Great day.

Thanks to Megan Gerdeman Carr for sharing this beautiful picture of her home and our greenery.

What a wonderful family farm! Yesterday, my family and I had a great experience cutting our own tree and visiting with the owner and family afterwards while we warmed ourselves inside with hot apple cider and bagged peanuts. I highly recommend checking them out!
