Happy Friday☀️

We're kicking off the weekend with a TAP UPDATE!

We have FINALLY tapped our highly anticipated Into the Wood Sour! Batch #6 was aged for TWO YEARS in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir barrels with our house culture. It's nice and tart with a DEPTH of flavor! All of our Sour lovers, RUN don't walk.

We also tapped a fresh round of the Hopsta La Vista, Honey, Wet Hop IPA featuring local hops from Auburn Acres

Also, in honor of the Akron Oatmeal Fesitval tomorrow (10/10) our America's Byway Oatmeal IPA will be a dollar off ALL DAY Saturday, October 10th!

& Akronym has a new gluten-free offering on tap, Lock 15 Brewing Co. Hard Seltzer, in the flavor dragon fruit.

The sun is out, it's a beautiful day, come start your weekend on our patio while you still can! We'll see you at 3PM.

Coma's Rockin' Halloween🕸

Comatose and Akronym Brewing are teaming up to throw THE Halloween Drag Bash of the year! We're setting up a dance floor for 8PM with a Drag Show to follow. We have quite the lineup of performers AND a costume contest with a CASH PRIZE💵

No costume necessary to join the action though. This party is open to all ages, but you do need to be 21 to drink. Join us on Saturday, October 31st from 8PM to midnight for an awesome night you won't forget!

We'll have drink specials, cheap domestics *while supplies last* FREE PARKING in the High and Market Street parking deck, a CASH PRIZE for the best costume and dance party you won't want to miss!

THANK YOU!

We had such a fun time at our Oktoberfest on Main Street this past Saturday! Thank you to all who joined us, and to everyone who worked behind the scenes (and at the actual festival) for making it a success.

If it weren't for the wonderful city of Akron, and all the friends we've made along the way, we wouldn't be able to put together fun events like this that celebrate local craft b**r, and for that we are so grateful.

We can't wait to do it again next year! Prost🍻

Tuesday is Ohio Pint Day!

On Tuesday, September 29th we're celebrating Ohio Pint Day at Akronym Brewing. Starting at 3PM when we open, we'll have the 2026 glasses available until sold out.

Grab 16oz of any b**r (excluding high ABV's) and a new Ohio Pint Day glass for $12! Happy Hour is from 3-5, which means $1 off.

Happy Marathon Week, Akron!

This time last year, Akronym Brewing was still in the process of reopening, yet we decided to open up our doors for the morning of the Akron Marathon with nothing but a few b**rs to sell and Akron showed up in full force!

So join us again this Saturday, right next to the start line, as early as 7AM. This year we'll have tons of craft b**r, breakfast food, coffee, n/a options and a free water station ready to go. Hopefully someone brings in fresh Krispy Kreme donuts like last year😉

*The marathon will cause road closures Friday night through Saturday morning, which will affect traffic and parking. Please plan accordingly for your visit*

We'll see you this Saturday at Akronym downtown from 7AM-10PM. Don't forget about to-go b**r and DORA cups
