🙏🏼
Twenty-five years have passed since the morning of September 11, 2001, but the lives lost—and the courage shown—will never be forgotten.
Today, we remember the 2,977 innocent people who were killed in New York City, at the Pentagon and aboard Flight 93.
We remember those who left home that morning and never returned. We remember the families whose lives changed forever, the survivors who carried the memories with them and the countless people who stepped forward to help strangers in their darkest hour.
We honour the firefighters, police officers, paramedics and other first responders who ran towards danger while others were desperately trying to escape. We also remember those who later lost their lives after suffering illnesses linked to their work at Ground Zero.
The Clydesdale standing beneath the American flag is a symbol of strength, dignity and silent remembrance—a tribute from the horse community to everyone taken that day and every hero who gave everything.
Twenty-five years later, the world still remembers.
May their names, their stories and their courage never be forgotten. 🇺🇸
