Its Propagation season... Our first attempt at cloning blackberries! 🌱✂️

Apparently buying more plants was too straightforward. 🤷

so now we’ve got a shelf full of sticks under a grow light and we’re emotionally invested in every leaf. 😂

I’m away in Alabama working on tractors, so Piper’s covering the tractor work at home. 🚜🐶

Left her a list of jobs. She ate it.

Now she’s driving around looking busy. 🚜 🐕

Anyone know if “the English bulldog did it” is covered by insurance? 👇💜💛

Happy Monday! 😴

Understaffed. Underpaid. Absolutely overdressed. 🐈‍⬛🚨

Berry security has clocked in at Proper Cougar Berry Co. First patrol at 8. First nap at 8:03. 😂🫐

Who else is physically at work but mentally still on the weekend? ☕👇

Jenn and I working through our problems… this one was a stump.

Another day, another stump gone, and more room for berries!

A bird’s eye view of progress at Proper Cougar! Making room for more blackberries, one tractor bucket at a time. Turns out growing berries starts with playing in the dirt. 🚜

Description: Hard to believe these blackberries were only planted in March! 🌱

Just a few months later, patch one is looking strong and giving us plenty of pruning, mowing, and reasons to say, “We should plant more.” 😂

What have you grown this year that’s surprised you? 👇

Meet Donut, the newest member of the Proper Cougar berry security team! 🍩🐈‍⬛🫐

We hired another cat because an actual cougar was outside the budget.

Donut has already negotiated payment in treats, unlimited nap breaks, and the right to supervise us without lifting a paw. Currently inspecting the porch for suspicious activity.

“Won’t need the trailer. It’ll fit.” me, before buying wood longer than my planning skills. 😂🪵

Now Jenn’s travelling in the lumber department, and I’m pretending this was the plan all along.

Anyone else leave the trailer at home and immediately regret it? 🤦‍♂️

“We should plant more berries,” we said. “It’ll be fun,” we said. 😂🔥

Apparently, before you can make more syrup, you have to spend a while smelling like a bonfire.

We’re slowly making room for the next round of berries at Proper Cougar Berry Co.

one branch, one stump, and one “whose idea was this?” at a time! 🫐💪

Anyone else have a “little weekend project” that’s now become a second job? 👇😂
