We hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful Sunday and HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to all the dads out there!!!

We are celebrating at the Athens Community Center today for our Pavilion Fundraiser so we can build us a permanent structure for the farmers, bakers, artists, musicians and producers that call the Athens Farmers Market home.

What better way to show your support AND celebrate your favorite father than coming out and taking in some tunes while sipping a local brew in the shade, or trying your hand at a game of “hand-jam” while eating a smash burger crafted by the Avalanche crew. There’s coffee, cookies, pie, cinnamon rolls, and so much more!!!

We have members of the Athens Art Guild, food trucks, local beers and cider, pickle ball, ladder ball, handjam, disc golf, and even a screen printing station where you can print your own AFM logo shirt, bag, etc.. (we have a limited number of shirts available so feel free to bring your own cotton blend item so you don’t miss out!!)

Bring your Pop out to sip, shop, and chill for his special day. And maybe let him win a game of co****le to let him know he’s still got it!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Have you been here yet? 😍😍😍

We just did a restock at Century Farm Market, LLC in Albany and we couldn’t resist picking up some local goodies while we were there!

This place has such a great selection of locally sourced wares and foods, and when you walk in you can’t help but feel the magic. I can’t fully put it into words, but there is a feeling you get -like a nostalgic, throwback, down home, Americana-type feeling. Makes you want to drink a pop from a glass bottle and chase fireflies in their cornfield, which you should ask for permission before doing, or do on your own property. (Ok.. Lol I probably shoulda stopped when I said I can’t put it into words, or just deleted that part, but here we are 😂)

ANYWAYS… We are honored to be in markets that align with our vision of how community, farming and healthy living come together. Stores like this are a blessing to our community and I hope everyone understands that they can only survive with our support.
We love shopping here knowing that our money is going directly to our neighbors, friends and family when we purchase local goods.

🕰️2️⃣🌱 (Time to plant) FINALLY!!!

HOORAY FOR WARM WEATHER!!!
We know it’s been tempting to put those little tender plants out already but you are better off having waited! A lesson some of us love to learn year after year 😅

We will be bringing the first rounds of tomatoes and container varieties of peppers to the Athens Farmers Market tomorrow, Saturday (May 16th (thanks, Ma))
Many more varieties of hot and super hot peppers will be available in the coming weeks!

I’ll try to post a complete list of all available plants very soon 😁
