Today is a big day. We begin the process of tearing down our Milk House and building a new one. It's so exciting and very much needed.

This milkhouse has served me well, and the generations before me, but it's tired and small, and the drainage beneath it is failing. The pipes are crushed, the drainage pipes shift with the changing on the seasons. We've used a sump pump several winters to get ride of the milkhouse waste water.

There's something sad about tearing down what someone else has built.

Stay tuned!
