A behind-the-scenes look at Sunnyland Farms’ pecan process from start to finish🌱

Georgia pecans are grown, shaken, and shelled all in one place. To maintain the company’s reputation for the finest pecan halves, Sunnyland uses technology and the human eye to sort through every pecan.

Alex Willson is the 4th generation to own his family’s pecan groves. His great-grandfather Will Willson purchased the groves in Albany, Ga - now known as the Pecan Capital of the World!

Willson Farming Company is a fourth generation family pecan farm. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the first gen, Will Willson, purchasing the groves in 1926🥳

Larry Willson was a baby when his mother and father decided to move to Albany, Ga to manage the farm and become the 2nd generation of Willson Farming Co. His parents, Jane and Harry Willson, founded Sunnyland Farms as a pecan mail-order business.

Sunnyland Farms ships Georgia grown pecans and gourmet food gifts nationwide. Larry Willson now manages Willson Farming Company and Sunnyland Farms with his son, Alex Willson.
