A family owned and operated business. All cheeses and charcuterie are selected by expert cheesemonger Mary Rizzo and sold by knowledgeable cheesemongers. Many items can be tasted before purchase, are cut to order, and priced by the pound with no minimum weight requirement. The shop offers a variety of accompaniments and specialty foods such as olives, olive oils, pastas, grains, jams, chutneys, crackers, salts, mustards, chocolates. Also for sale are organic fresh and frozen heritage breed meats from Tilldale Farm. The Cheese Traveler can be found at 540 Delaware Avenue in Albany, NY. Wholesale pricing is available for restaurants and catering.
