Meet the one and only, Chef Ben. 👨‍🍳

Ben graduated from the Schenectady Community College Culinary Arts program in 2017 before spending six years in Saratoga’s fine dining scene at 15 Church, working his way from Line Cook to Sous Chef to Chef de Cuisine.

That experience is a big part of what he brings to the kitchen at Fidens. With a background across a wide range of cuisines, techniques, and ingredients, Ben’s goal is to bring an elevated approach to brewery food while still making it fit the Fidens experience. Since joining the team, he’s also developed a love for working b**r into different recipes and finding new ways to bring what we brew into the kitchen.

That same approach carries into Chef Ben’s weekly Saturday food drops, featuring rotating dishes that lean a little more elevated while still feeling right at home on the Fidens menu. Keep an eye out each week for what’s coming next.

Outside of Fidens, you’ll usually find him hunting or at home with his wife, two dogs, and cat, making Italian food with a Fidens TIPA close by.

We’re lucky to have his experience, creativity, and perspective helping shape what comes out of the kitchen here on Broadway. 🍻
