There's always room for improvements, but I've come a long way in my livestock photography skills over the years π
These does are a bit older in the prettier pictures, however differences include:
Clipping/shaving the goats
Level ground
Camera angle perpendicular to the goat
Solid backdrop (blurred backgrounds also work)
Goat body position
Lighting is always important
But the best trick for me has been... using video to capture the perfect moment they stand right. I work the camera, and Jon paces back and forth along the wall with a scoop of feed. You can also use a tripod if you don't have help.
