Learning is key and knowing your goats and their behaviors- my bucks had been acting just fine no issues then I noticed clumpy poop but still eating drinking being normal but I knew it wasn’t their Norm — so I researched and asked FB groups ect many thought it was eating to much and maybe change in hay just to wait a few weeks and should be ok — they did not clear up. several weeks went by of me trying to figure them out ... I finally found out what it was —
Worm overload I felt so horrible
But i tabled my emotions — I got right on it
Quest dewormer .... next day my bigger buck was laying down trying to eat no energy so I started immediately
Molasses water
red cell
vitamin b complex shots daily
The next day huge improvement both bucks are doing great healthy and happy selves

I really beat myself up — but raising goats to me is. Learning process. And networking. A wonderful lady came and purchased on of my kids and she taught me so much about selenium. And so that is part of the monthly regiment !! I love my goat binder for my record keeping and the emergency goat page was so helpful

So new goat owners keep your head up and know your goats keep learning and keep networking. I am no expert but I learn and research and make sure it is good for my herd
